Review: I am a business woman in New York City and receive many visitors from overseas.I called Andrea Car Service to pick up a passenger [redacted] from the Sao Paulo/New York TAM flight to JFK on the [redacted] of August 2014. I specifically called them because the passenger does not speak English and I was told their drivers spoke Portuguese.I asked them if they knew specifically at JFK where the TAM flight was arriving and they assured me that they meet this flight constantly and knew exactly which terminal it came into.They asked me for my credit card information and I supplied it to cover the cost of the ride.The day of the arrival my passenger arrived at the terminal and when she left customs into the main waiting area no one was there waiting with a sign and it was an area which was not very crowded so it was not as if she was missing something. She called me and I proceeded to call the Andrea Car Service non stop leaving over five messages on their phone. After over an hour of waiting I instructed the passenger to grab a yellow cab outside and I waited outside my door for the cab to arrive and then paid in cash. In the interim, after my passenger was already on her way to the city in a yellow cab, the assigned driver from ANDREA called me and I informed him that my passenger had already left. He assured me that my card would not be charged. Low and behold when I checked my statement the following day there was a charge for US$106. I started calling them and complaining and after my first call, they stopped taking my calls. My husband then called and they hung up on him, as they had with me and two people from my office. My husband then went to their office in Queens and they refused to talk to him and the man ran away from him. This behavior is absolutely ridiculous and certainly is no way to run a business. I have now seen various other complaints about them on line and their rudeness seems to be generally their way of doing business.Desired Settlement: I want to get my US$106 dollars refunded to my credit card.
