Tell us why here...*** *** stopped in on 9/17/with a failed battery but could not provide the receipt from his purchase Acura requires a receipt with a purchase date in order to process a warranty claim on the battery.*** *** stated that did not have the receipt any longer
Given that we did not have the documentation required to process the claim , and in an attempt to assist him , we did contact Acura Client Relations to find out if there was anything we could do to process the claim without a receipt.Unfortunately the agent informed me that we could not process the claim under warrantyWe established a case # on *** ***s behalf and provided him with a phone number to reach Acura should he want to discuss it further with the agent.We then offered to sell *** *** a new battery at dealer cost and offered to install it at no charge in an effort to assist him in some way*** *** declined our offers of assistance

I contacted Acura customer relations and Acura has fulfilled there obligation by repairing the vehicle and providing a loaner vehicleNo further assistance is available

I am rejecting this response because:I understand the recall and who/what it is affecting.  This is not my problem; it is the dealer's and manufacturer's problem.  My problem is I paid $325 to drive and Acura from April to May, but was provided with a [redacted].  Elite Acura or Acura Corporate violated the lease agreement and someone needs to make me whole again.Either that or do nothing like you have done.  The latter will result in the termination of any further business I do with either.

I am rejecting this response because: I pay/lease to drive an Acura.  I was provided with a [redacted] for exactly 1 month.  I should be reimbursed for Acura's violation of the lease agreement, specifically, me agreeing to pay for and drive the specified Acura.

is affecting not just Acura but just about every major manufacturer as well and has become the biggest recall for vehicles in the United States ever. We are trying our best to accommodate every customer and to minimize the inconvenience factor for all those involved. We are working with the best that Acura has given and we are truly sorry for the way you feel regarding the status of your leased vehicle. We are working closely with Acura and have started to receive shipments to resolve the recall but they are coming in a very limited supply but we should expect this to change shortly. In the meantime I would like to discuss this further with you to see if there is anything more we can offer to help while this sets itself through.
