the bike off at 10pm and was calling me at 10am asking was it ready, my business hours are from 10am to 6pm. After picking up his motorcycle he called back irate, stating that I worked on his motorcycle and now his led lights aren't working which had nothing to with the work I was hired to do. Months later ** called back very apologetic stating that the led lights went out on another bike of his and he knew then that the [redacted] situation wasn't my fault, he then begged me to work on the gsxr 1000 that brings us here. I kept telling ** that I was too busy to work on his bike, to which he just dropped off the bike one day anyways ignoring my attempts to nicely decline the work. No deposit was left at this time. The used [redacted] swingarm he brought had the rear wheel still attached the axle nut was cross threaded and seized on the axle, I had to cut the nut off with a oxyacetylene torch at no extra charge. I then dropped the swing off to powdercoat , we're about a month in at this point no deposit has been made yet. ** did however make a $500 dollar deposit around June, $250 went to the swingarm and the other $250 went toward chroming the rear wheel (which cost $700). ** wanted me to pay for his parts powder coating and chrome then he would reimburse my money, this is not how I run my shop. Now I keep 20 to 30 bikes on hand at all times to which I'm only employee and/or mechanic at my shop, sub work on my part would not keep me this busy. I do not have the time to run around do all these things as well as spend my money on it, customers pay for parts up front and pay the labor when the bike is ready. Now its August and ** constantly yells, screams, and attempts to intimidate me into finishing his motorcycle. He also claims I would not answer my phone which is very true because he doesn't call until between 9 and 11pm, I will not talk motorcycles once I leave my shop for the day. He was also given a $450 dollar discount for taking so long when it only took so long because he never paid the remaining balance to get the rear wheel chromed. When he finally picked up his motorcycle I explained to him the rear brake issues that are cause by not having the right swingarm for his motorcycle, ([redacted] swingarm on a gsxr 1000) to make the rear brakes work he needed a different caliper bracket. The issues he had were caused by him applying the rear brake when he was told not too, he was bought to my shop by someone in a truck. He knew the issues with the motorcycle and had every chance to load it on the truck or leave the motorcycle until he bought the right parts. The rear brake can only cause the rear wheel to lock up when applied, no parts were left loose or improperly installed. The issues he had are rider error not mechanical error. ** has blasted me on [redacted] and to members of the motorcycle community, which has seem to had a adverse affect my shop has been busier since his post to that I thank him. However I do not like being lied on and falsely accused of being shady when I have bent over backwards to help **. I can prove any and everything I've stated I also have screenshots of the [redacted] posts where the story has changed several times. I was also told that ** has done this before to other shops and not to worry because some people are unpleasable. I wasn't even gonna reply to this but it weighs heavy on my heart to be treated this way simply because ** doesn't like me for whatever reasons not because of my work. I don't have the time to go over every detail he lied to you all on this complaint, nor do I see a way to attach files supporting my claims. As stated before I can back up my claims with supporting documents, I'm not asking you to believe me on my word alone as is **. I haven't spoke ** since he left my shop the day of his incident, ** also acts like there wasn't a witness to me explaining the issues with his motorcycle there was another of my customers present at the time he picked up his motorcycle. Before I end this I do not advertise nor hustle work on [redacted], craigslist, or any other social media my shop stays full solely on word of mouth. I have not lost one single customer due to ** and his lies, probably cause anyone with half a brain can tell he's a hothead and/ or knows I do not conduct sub par work as he states. Where's his receipts from the shop he took the bike to with the dates close to the time of the issues, I highly doubt he can produce them. His lawyer was also drawing up papers on me as stated on [redacted] to which I feel a court case would be the only way for me to be heard fairly, but I haven't been served and it's been over a month now just another lie from **. My work is too good to be killed by ** so I'm not concerned with who you all side with on this, I however do apologize for your time being wasted by ** and his lies. He's a bald face liar and a hothead who doesn't want to spend the money it takes to have the motorcycle fixed properly. I'm a fool for even working on another one of his bikes and for also trying to please him.
