Levy Pools was contacted by [redacted] December 2013 to install new plumbing, to re-tile the pool and to supply and install a pool heat pump and new [redacted] Dehumidifier unit at Waterfront Place. Subcontractors were used for the tiling of...

the pool and the installation of a new [redacted] unit. The ductwork was not to be replaced, only the [redacted] unit and the necessary connections to connect to the existing ductwork.
Levy Pools was contacted by [redacted] early this year and this was the first time we were made aware of any outstanding issues at [redacted] Waterfront Place. When the job was completed in 2014, we were contacted regarding the leaking of the pool. Levy Pools returned at that time and replaced a skimmer that was cracked and resolved an issue with water syphoning out of a step handrail. Once these issues were corrected, we explained to [redacted] about regular pool water loss including evaporation, backwashing procedures and regular bather load. After this explaination Levy Pools was not made aware of any other water loss issues.
Levy Pools was not contacted by [redacted] in Dec. 2016 regarding the pool at Waterfront Place. We were not aware of or included in any discussion about closing down the pool during [redacted]tmas break. Levy Pools would never have scheduled or agreed to complete any work during that timeframe as Levy Pools has always been closed between [redacted]tmas and New Years.
As far as the deficiencies listed in the complaint, ie: improper caulking around the pool and poor quality tiling, Levy Pools was not aware of any outstanding issues. After the job was completed in 2014, Levy Pools dealt with all issues brought to our attention. In regards to the complaint of incorrect ductwork for the [redacted] unit, Levy Pools was not contracted to replace the existing duct work, only to provide the new unit and the required connections to the existing ductwork.
Levy Pools has continued to provide service and chemicals for the pool at Waterfront Place until the end of 2016. We have not been compensated for the work completed from Aug-Nov 2016. There are three outstanding invoices on file totaling $[redacted].
Levy Pools prides ourselves on handling and resolving all complaints in a professional and timely manner. Levy Pools did resolve all issues concerning this job immediately after they were brought to our attention and also continued to provide service for the pool at Waterfront Place.
Levy Pools is open to meet on site to go over the deficiencies in the complaint.

There has been no resolution because there has been no contact from Levy pools. Through their response to you we would understand that something is going to be done but we have had no indication from them directly of any action.

As we advised, Levy Pools has been in contact with a ventilation company in regards to this complaint. We were hoping that the two week timeframe that was given to Waterfront Place would be plenty of time to get the information that we required and come to a resolution. However all ventilation companies are very busy this time of year. To hopefully speed up the process we forwarded pictures to a ventilation technician but when we followed up with him, we were advised that they would need to go out and view the unit before making any judgments. Levy Pools contacted [redacted] Oct 2 to set up this appointment. [redacted] of [redacted] was on site with [redacted], the owner of Levy Pools and [redacted] from Waterfront Place to look at the [redacted] unit. [redacted] advised that the [redacted] unit is working, the windows were clear and there was no moisture on them, also the air quality and humidity levels were good. He advised that the air flow could be a bit better if the vent pipes coming off of the unit were replaced with a slighter curved elbow fitting so that the angle is not as sharp. We are currently waiting for pricing from [redacted] to replace the fittings. When we have the pricing we will be in contact with Waterfront Place to come to a resolution.
