Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the dash is not brittle the crack is right by a screw witch was obviously not removed because that whole panel is held on by screws not clipsIf all screws were removed the panel would have came off easilyI have attached pictures to prove this point also this part of my dash is under my steering column and therefore not exposed to direct sunlight wich is what causes the plastic to become brittleAlso I have spoken to smart start and they said the shop should be held responsibleThe shop should step up and admit there mistake and fix the damaged propertyThank you Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI am still very dissapointed about the service and that my dash was not repairedmonths free calibration does not fix the broken parts that should never have been broken to begin withI think andys express service should have been held accountable for there actionsI will be taking my buisness elsewhere and will be recommending others do the sameThe only reason I settled was because I could not afford an attourney

I am rejecting this response because: I have contacted the people at smart start several times to try to speak with *** *** and still have not heard a response from him but the people I have been able to speak with at the smart start company say that because the incedent happened in andys express and that it was because they did not take the proper steps in removing the dash panel that andys express service should be responsible for the repair of the panelI am ready to resolve this issue and am tired of getting the runaround from the shopPlease take resposibility for your mistakes and correct the problem

Our shop subcontracts for Smart Start Interlock Company and we install Ignition interlock systems for themThe vehicle in question is a Chevy pickup and in order to install interlock system in this vehicle required to remove underneath the dashIn the process of the removal with years
of brittle wear and tear the dash underneath crackedWe informed Mr*** that to contact *** *** of Smart Start of his problem and that they would take care of it for him. The number was given to him to contact the company which is ###-###-####This matter has nothing to do with Andy's Express Service and that the Company Smart Start will take care of this matterIf you have any questions please contact *** *** at *** he is already aware of this situation and is looking forward to be contacted by Mr*** of this matterThank you
