8Years Of Excellent Service And Huge 3 Year Asparagus Roots - 8 Stars ********
I have been buying 3 Year Asparagus roots from Andy's Asparagus Acres for about 8 years . Every year I add 25 roots to my garden. I buy from Andy's because the Asparagus roots are huge healthy and great producers. 2018 - 2019 was a challenge for everyone because of the uncertainty of Covid. Every business was experiencing shortage of workers. I placed my order early April of 2019. By the end of April Andy called me and said that "my Asparagus Order" couldn't not be filled till the fall . My order was $284.00.
At first I was concerned. But having been a customer for 8 years and have always received excellent service and amazing Asparagus roots, I told Andy to keep my order and ship in the Fall. The Asparagus roots arrived end of Sept. Andy gave me a big Thankyou! for my patience and threw in 5 extra roots. H said all businesses across the USA were struggling with Covid and no workers. I just placed another order for 25 more Asparagus roots and 10 grape plants. 8 stars - one for each year of great service and they very best 3 year Asparagus roots. Stars * * * * * * * * *

I ordered 15 each asparagus crowns on 6-25-19 from Asparagusfarms but now have discovered it appears to be a fraud.
I got my order confirmed via email on 6-27-19 from *** with order number of 3780. I got another email from *** on 8-24-19 with order number *** stating that my order would be sent the third week of September. The company has multiple phone numbers but voice mail is always full and not allowed to leave a message. Their website email is ***@gmail.com which does not respond.The phone numbers I have for them are XXX-XXX-XXXX and XXX-XXX-XXXX. I paid $81.40 for the 15 *** plants. I paid using Pay Pal.

Desired Outcome

I want my $81.40 back from *** and would like the Revdex.com to do whatever possible to help future customers from being cheated.

the company never answered my E-mail to them asking for my order status but now today 10-10-19 the mail man delivered my order.The problem is that I ordered from another company (Hand Picked Nursery)and my son planted them on 10-6-19, so I have no use for the item I got today from ***'s *** Acres.It appears that they are a real company but have some issues. Feel free to close my case. Thank you, *** L

I ordered asparagus from Andy's asparagus acres. I was told it would ship in two weeks. Six weeks later, still no asparagus. He won't respond to questions about the order. So now I have a big empty spot in my garden. He's a total flake. Finally, two months after ordering, he voids the order without explaining why. Terrible business. Don't buy from him.

It took months for anything to arrive. No word from them and every time I got in touch they would tell me a different month. None of it grew.

$80 down the drain and terrible communication.

We are an Asparagus Farm and we ship at the proper planting time for the gardener to have the best success. Mother Nature is our guidance. If we get a late snow or heavy rain, we can not work out in the farm fields. We dig Asparagus special for our customers. We do not dig them in the Fall put them in cooler then ship old stale roots to gardeners. We deal with this every season. We make a project date for shipping and then a weather delay.

As far as nothing "grew". We send Asparagus Planting Guides. We do not take orders over the phone so we can talk to customers about soil requirement, watering and details on how to prep your soil. I can't believe Daniell is blaming me for plants not growing. If she would of called s we would have gone step by step and helped with details on pH, watering, fertilizer, compost, and how to plant.

She never contacted me about her concerns. We could have worked out shipping more plants so she could try again. I have never heard from her. Why didn't she call us? But complains instead of you?

Our records do not even have her as a customer. In sum, I do not ship plants in the winter. I could have helped replace plants. I would have spent all day help explain how to plant, when to plant. Her goal here is not to figure out why the plants died or if there are replacements But to cry to you. She cries in a complaint instead of finding a solution. She did not contact me. But you.

To me that is illogical thinking. I think her complaint is very unreasonable. She complains about the arrive of the roots. May instead of worrying about when she should of spent her time preparing her garden soil properly for them to grow.

She ordered Artichokes in Jan 2017. Artichoke don't ship till end of April mid May. They don't even come out of the ground till them. 100's of gardeners ordered before her. Orders shipped on a "fist" come basis according to date ordered. This is 2019 and her complaint goes back to 2017. Why did she wait 2 years to contact you and not me. You got Artichokes up there in your office in Nashville? May be she thinks that you are going to ship her new ones.

Jun 5, 2017, 9:37 PM to: FROM ***

All is good 2nd week of June. Be ready to plant.

package arrived Jun 20, 2017
Soil and location was correct for plants, planted right away - nothing grew.

Company will not hold up their end and send my plants I ordered. I am still waiting for them to send plants I paid for a year ago, plus this years.
I never got all the plants I ordered last year. The said they would make it right this year. I gave an order for this year and it was to all be shippied. I have sent many emails and called many times, always getting told they will get right on it. After several promises and no action, I've asked for a refund and met a response of they have orders to fill and I will have to wait two weeks. I know I will never see my money back and need help.

Desired Outcome

REFUND

I have a wonderful Asparagus Garden. I bought 50 Asparagus roots. All looked great when they arrived. I planted same day. And 3 weeks later I was harvesting Asparagus.
Delicious and now I am filling up my freezer.

After this harvest, I am ordering 60 more. Thank you Andy for the super Asparagus roots. One Happy Gardener!!

Purchase of unsatisfactory asparagus crowns. No reply after many attempts asking for assistance.
==> 18 Jersey Supreme 3-Year Old Asparagus Crowns.
==> Purchase Date: 3/22/17
==> Paid via PayPal, $103.50
==> Andy's Asparagus 0328
==> Received loose in a shabby, used box on 4/22/17 and immediately planted with best practices

Desired Outcome

18 3-year old Jersey Supreme asparagus crowns were purchased from Andy's Asparagus on 3/22/17 via PayPal for $103.50. The asparagus crowns were not received until over four weeks later. Andy's Asparagus blamed the shipment delay on rain. We received significant product variance. 8 of the crowns were large in appearance (with roots) and 10 were much smaller. We do not believe those 10 are 3-year old crowns. We replanted three quarters of our 17 year old asparagus bed after digging up our old asparagus and planted the Andy's Asparagus. 12 of the plants came up and 6 crowns in random locations never surfaced. All of the 12 surfacing asparagus were thin (12 less than 1/16" to 1/8" thick and 1 crown in which one spear was 3/16" thick), all with fern-like tops. None were representative, edible asparagus. The one quarter of the bed which we did not replant with Andy's Asparagus, still had our 17-yeara old plants as a fall-back in case there was an issue. Out intention was to replant that last quarter next year if success was achieved with the replanted section this year. We enjoyed asparagus from the old quarter bed section but had no asparagus spears from the Andy's Asparagus crowns. Andy's Asparagus noted that three year old crowns were harvestable, but our intent was to let them establish themselves without harvest over the summer. None of the Andy's Asparagus were harvested and allowed to grow. Unlike the delicious, robust crown production/performance of our older plants, none of the Andy's Asparagus crowns produced edible asparagus tips. Today, 10 are surviving, all of which emerged and remain fern-like, skinny and not robust with no edible spears. I contacted Andy's Asparagus several times by email to ask for comment, advice, and received no reply. My email outreach was as below, with detailed notes and pictures of the bed showing the success of the older original 17 year old plants with the unsuccessful newer bed replanted with Andy's Asparagus. 6/13/2017 - No reply 7/1/17 - No reply 8/7/2017 - No Reply My requests were simply an outreach for assistance as the Andy's Asparagus shipped crowns are failures. At this point in our experience with Andy's Asparagus, we have no confidence in their support of their product today or in the future. We want a complete refund of our paid $103.50 from Andy's Asparagus.
