I am rejecting this response because:
The truck was driven home but stalled at every stop because it still does not idle properly.  Most of the charges for this bill were from guess work.  The distributor that was replaced still clearly is not the issue because the truck still does not idle properly which was part of the problem to begin with.  This mechanic apparently thinks that he should be able to charge more than the vehicle was worth to guess at why it does not run.  The truck has run for years with the ground wires as they are and so that is obviously not the problem, nor is the distributor cap.  He wanted another $500. to finish trying to figure out what was wrong.  If he did not have a clue what the issue was he should not have done anything.  He did charge for the caliper bolts and labor.  My mother drove the truck to her home.  I tried to pick up the vehicle the day before an auto accident that left me with a head injury and many broken bones.  He knew I was in the hospital and injured.  I am still recovering from that accident last July.  The truck still would not idle when I attempted to bring it home the day before my accident. I did not contact the owner about this previously.  I maintain the position that the truck should run on it's own after the amount of money spent on the repair.

- We had towed this vehicle into the shop, the truck did not run towing was part of her original bill. . They did drive the vehicle from my shop after we got the truck running, there were many other issues with the truck (1998 Durango 200k miles fair condition)  including...

ground wires that were not connected properly which were repaired at no charge to my customer. After the truck was running, we noticed that there was a broken caliper bolt and the vehicle should not have been driven we repaired that before they took the truck . trouble codes only point you in a direction which is why I used a oscilloscope to verify that the signal was not present from the distributor (no spark). the original date that the vehicle came into the shop was 7/14/15 todays date is 4/18/16 the customer never contacted me.
