Review: Roof replaced 8/2/2013. Mr. [redacted] was supposed to, as a part of the contract, install new pipe flashing and drip edge around the chimney. However, I can hear a drip behind the fireplace when it rains. This has been the case since the roof was replaced 2 years ago. Mr. [redacted]'s invoice indicates there is a 5 year warranty on work. I contacted Mr. [redacted] on several occasions by telephone and left voicemail messages about the problem, but he never returned any of my calls.Desired Settlement: Flashing around chimney installed properly to resolve drip issue. My understanding is that if another roofer repairs the problem the current warranty is no longer valid.
