Anesthesia Consultants of Treasure Valley sincerely regrets the billing fiasco experienced by the family of the patient treated at our facility. Our group outsources our billing to ABC ANESTHESIA BILLING out of Beaverton Oregon. We have had ongoing issues similar to the one illustrated in this...

example which ultimately led to our decision to seek a local service in order to provide a better client experience. Our group president is rather distressed that we didn't receive word of this issue much, much earlier in order to intervene for the client.
To that extent, we have notified ABC and have asked them to waive this bill entirely and to notify the collection agency in question to suspend further efforts to collect the balance. We will follow up with a personal phone call to the client and see that this matter is resolved.

Not only did they close the bill but doctor L[redacted] personally called and explained the situation that they were having with the billing company and personally apologized for all of the headache it caused me. I would have been happy with the bill being closed but he went above and beyond by calling with an explanation and apology. I am glad to hear that they have started using a new billing company. My husband had a small surgery on his elbow less than a year ago and I found out afterward that the anesthesiologist came from this group. My heart kind of sank because of the problems I was having already with this billing issue. The bill was submitted on time and everything went smoothly, which I now understand since they are using a new billing company. The problem I had was evidently with an old billing company in the past and I am glad to hear and from my own experiences see that they have resolved that issue by contracting a new company.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
