Ms [redacted] , Following my voicemail I thought I would respond to your letter, regarding Mr [redacted] * [redacted] In the interest of everyone’s time I am going to keep this brief as this previous patient has been told the same thing repetitivelyFirst, the patient agreed to the office policy which has nothing to do with his insurance.Second, any funds from the $office visit which were not put toward the patients visits once his insurance completed their payment process “were” reimbursed in accordance to our policy as the patient agreed Last, I personally wrote a check which was mailed to the address we have on file for the patientI am sorry if the patient feels we have wronged him by not jumping when he says to and is use to getting his way right then and there by hounding the office front desk staff with continuous abrasive phone callsShould you have any additional questions or comments I would be glad to address these via phoneThank you, GrantFormally: Anew Family Care303-770-

Ms [redacted] , Unfortunately, it appears that MrL [redacted] continues to have a very loose relationship with the facts of this matter and in fact, now is making ludicrous claims in an attempt to move the goalposts ( I don't want to pay for the service?! Huh?) This is a very simple matter that MrL [redacted] could close, should he take the appropriate and ethical action of opening his booksHe won't because it would expose this entire schemeThe fact of the matter is that [redacted] covered the ENTIRE contracted rate to Anew Family Care-not partial-which 100% entitles me to a complete refund of the multiple $paymentsThis is an easily verifiable fact that I've already confirmed multiple times with [redacted] I suspect this is also one of the reasons that MrL [redacted] refused to ever answer or return voicemails to [redacted] representatives that attempted to reach him multiple timesThey and I can prove that the visits were covered 100%Why can't he show documentation as to why I wasn't refunded? The idea that I'm doing this for financial gain is laughableThis is all so easily proven and I believe people like MrL [redacted] should be held accountable for their actionsEither he was incapable of operating basic business accounting measures, or was undertaking something more nefariousYou be the judge of thatAs I've stated before, a quick internet search will show that this little scheme was perpetrated on dozens of other patientsI was "discharged" AFTER I sent the doctor a note saying I needed my medical records because I would be leaving the practiceThe assertion that I was "discharged" prior is an outright lieSorry, MrL [redacted] ....there are date stamps on emails, tooWanna try to prove that, too? The answer is MrL [redacted] was the billing company and is responsible for this messAs you can see, he has trouble keeping his story straight and is as careless with the truth as he is with basic accounting practices. The healthcare situation is an unfortunate state of affairs for many reasons-not the least of which are shoddily-ran practices that use fraudulent billing schemesAnew Family Care went out of business...errr...changed it's name because of unethical practices such as this, which also led to the numerous poor reviews on [redacted] , and prior Revdex.com complaints I suspect this sort of activity is also why good doctors kept leaving the practice to go elsewhereI suppose the numerous patients and doctors that have left L [redacted] 's practice just aren't wise enough to understand the high-level business acumen that he possessesI have receipts, bank statements, and [redacted] claim information that proves my caseMr L [redacted] , despite his sudden pivot that Anew went out of practice, could put this to rest if he wanted to by providing documentation to back up his claims that I was reimbursed correctlyHe won't, because he can'tI'll let you draw your own conclusions on that Sincerely, [redacted]

s***, Let me clarify, ANEW Family Care is no longer in practice and has not been for several months nowWith the every challenging healthcare system in which a doctor strives to assist their patients in a betterment for their health, such issues as Mr***’s are a perfect example as to whyIt’s an unfortunate state of affairs when a Doctor is simply trying to help with a patient’s healthcare needs yet the patient does not want to pay for the service. Again, as we have expressed to the patient and every other patient who walked through our doors for service verbally and through a written consent formOur $up front fee went toward the office visitShould the patients insurance come back and cover the entire visit, the patient would receive a refundShould the office visit not be covered entirely by the patient we would take the remainder from this $to cover this costAt points in time if the patient was seen on multiple occasions prior to the refund being submitted the remainder of this small upfront payment would then be placed toward the next visitOnce processed through our Electronic Medical System, an outside billing department, we would issue refund checks, which this patient has already received in full. Again, I believe this patient is striving for additional funds in repercussion for being dismissed from the practice or simply does not understand how a business operates. We have attended to his healthcare needs and issued his refunds as noted by our outside billing companyWe have lived up to our agreement as signed by the patient for services rendered At this point, again the issue has been far from resolvedThe patient has been told this multiple times, has signed the agreement which states the policy and I see no need to continue to waste time in addressing the same manner again and again. Thank you, GrantFormally: Anew Family Care303-770-

Ms. [redacted], Following my voicemail I thought I would respond to your letter, regarding Mr. [redacted]. In the interest of everyone’s time I am going to keep this brief as this previous patient has been told the same thing repetitively. First, the patient agreed to the office...

policy which has nothing to do with his insurance.Second, any funds from the $50 office visit which were not put toward the patients visits once his insurance completed their payment process “were” reimbursed in accordance to our policy as the patient agreed.  Last, I personally wrote a check which was mailed to the address we have on file for the patient. I am sorry if the patient feels we have wronged him by not jumping when he says to and is use to getting his way right then and there by hounding the office front desk staff with continuous abrasive phone calls. Should you have any additional questions or comments I would be glad to address these via phone. Thank you, GrantFormally: Anew Family Care303-770-4227

Ms [redacted], Unfortunately, it appears that Mr. L[redacted] continues to have a very loose relationship with the facts of this matter and in fact, now is making ludicrous claims in an attempt to move the goalposts ( I don't want to pay for the service?! Huh?) This is a very simple matter that Mr. L[redacted] could close, should he take the appropriate and ethical action of opening his books. He won't because it would expose this entire scheme. The fact of the matter is that [redacted] covered the ENTIRE contracted rate to Anew Family Care-not partial-which 100% entitles me to a complete refund of the multiple $50 payments. This is an easily verifiable fact that I've already confirmed multiple times with [redacted]. I suspect this is also one of the reasons that Mr. L[redacted] refused to ever answer or return voicemails to [redacted] representatives that attempted to reach him multiple times. They and I can prove that the visits were covered 100%. Why can't he show documentation as to why I wasn't refunded? The idea that I'm doing this for financial gain is laughable. This is all so easily proven and I believe people like Mr. L[redacted] should be held accountable for their actions. Either he was incapable of operating basic business accounting measures, or was undertaking something more nefarious. You be the judge of that. As I've stated before, a quick internet search will show that this little scheme was perpetrated on dozens of other patients. I was "discharged" AFTER I sent the doctor a note saying I needed my medical records because I would be leaving the practice. The assertion that I was "discharged" prior is an outright lie. Sorry, Mr. L[redacted]....there are date stamps on emails, too. Wanna try to prove that, too? I have NOT been issued refunds and I see Mr L[redacted] also is claiming that an outside billing agency was involved. This is also incorrect. Now that Anew Family Care conveniently has restructured under the [redacted] banner, they use that billing system. These instances all occurred prior to Anew changing names...er...moving to [redacted]. In the last email, Mr L[redacted] claimed he "personally" wrote me a reimbursement check. If an outside billing company were involved, why would he personally be writing a check? The answer is Mr. L[redacted] was the billing company and is responsible for this mess. As you can see, he has trouble keeping his story straight and is as careless with the truth as he is with basic accounting practices. The healthcare situation is an unfortunate state of affairs for many reasons-not the least of which are shoddily-ran practices that use fraudulent billing schemes. Anew Family Care went out of business...errr...changed it's name because of unethical practices such as this, which also led to the numerous poor reviews on [redacted], and 8 prior Revdex.com complaints.  I suspect this sort of activity is also why good doctors kept leaving the practice to go elsewhere. I suppose the numerous patients and doctors that have left L[redacted]'s practice just aren't wise enough to understand the high-level business acumen that he possesses. I have receipts, bank statements, and [redacted] claim information that proves my case. Mr L[redacted], despite his sudden pivot that Anew went out of practice, could put this to rest if he wanted to by providing documentation to back up his claims that I was reimbursed correctly. He won't, because he can't. I'll let you draw your own conclusions on that.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
