Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: It does not matter what your paperwork says--what matters is the vehicle itself The vehicle is a *** *** whether you want to acknowledge that or not, is not relevant to this discussion The only VIN that holds up in court is the stamped metal VIN plate that is riveted to the frame of the vehicle visible through the windshield of the vehicle--and that is the VIN of a *** ***. Look, maybe Angel's Auto legitimately thought they purchased a *** *** at *** auction--just like their paperwork shows, but that's not what they received They received a *** *** which was totalled in 2012, declared a total loss and was, most likely pieced back together and sold as a with a rolled back odometer in order to make a quick buck.I know FOR A FACT this vehicle is a I have all the proof in my possession But, for argument's sake, let's say they are telling the truth and they did think they had purchased a If that's the case, the real scary thing is that a licensed automobile dealer got duped into thinking a was a 2011, and didn't bother to look at the VIN So, assuming this line of thinking is correct, then the agent who purchased and then re-sold this vehicle to me is either incompetent or wildly negligent--so which is it? You are the licensed dealer and YOU made the mistake You sold me a 2011, and I received a You must take back this *** *** and either give me what I paid for the vehicle If you refuse, I will take you to court and sue you for every penny I can--the choice is yours.
Regards,

Dear Mr***, Angels Auto is aware of the situation - we always want to provide our customers with the best experienceWhen you first contacted us about a year and four months after you had purchased the vehicle, you asked me if the vehicle was still under warrantyI
told you that the vehicle wasn't under warranty, and that we only offer warranty to customers that finance the car through usWe have never offered warranty for cash prices, they sell as isAt the time you asked for help because they were giving you an a high priced estimate to repair the transmission and I recommend you to look online carparts.com, where there were several transmissions for 1/of the estimate that had been given to you Then, you advised us that you were going to take the car to the dealership to see if it was still under warranty. After a month or so had passed you called us again to explained to us that the dealership had told you that the vehicle wasn't a *** *** that it had another VIN number I told you that couldn't be possible but asked you for some time to verify the information where we had purchased the car (*** *** Auction)After multiple con***tions with *** Dallas, they assured me that the vehicle that was sold was indeed the *** *** in question (VIN: ***) and had clean, non-salvage, titleI gave you a call and explained what they had told me, and also provided you at that time with all of the contact information for who to call at *** *** so you could speak with them your self to provide you with assurance I believe two or three months had passed when you reached out to us againThis time you were demanding for your money in return or you would seek legal action We never had a problem before and the owner wanted to keep it that way even though we had no wrong-doingNot being obligated by law to help you in anyway, the owner agreed to take the vehicle back, but only in the condition it was sold to youYou had no desire in working with us on the situation and said you weren't going to fix any repairsSo we did try to come to a resolution with your Mr*** - when we first started talking about the situation I asked you to come in next time you were in town, so I can provide you with all of our legal documents on when and where we had purchased the carWe told you several times that we would never commit fraud; that is not the way we earn our money. As a small business, we heavily depend on reputationThat means giving you and everybody else the best possible experienceI'm sorry that you haven't had thatThat's why we were willing to take a loss and have you return the car in working condition although we had done nothing wrongMr***, we don't have a salvage licenseWe aren't in the business of selling totaled vehicles, we only sell clean titlesWe purchased the vehicle from *** *** on 3/26/the seller was *** Bank (I believe I also provided you with their information)It was purchased as a clean title green light (Ride & Drive)We sold the vehicle to you on 5/7/We have all the legal documents and you are more than welcome to stop by and get a copyI'm only saying so you can have peace of mind and know we did not and would not ever commit a crime
