Angel's Tax Service

In responses to Ms*** compliant she came to my office with NO documents. She told me what to put as her income as she was self employed. I did her taxes for her she signed all the documents that was needed including the price sheet from the bank. It includes their fees and
my fees. She signed and dated the return. After which she wanted to know how soon she would get her money, I told her about weeks if nothing was wrong with the return. The next day Ms*** called and complained about the fees. I told her I would refund part of the fees but would have to wait until her tax return had come through. She was very angry about that and wanted the money immediately. I told her no. I also told her we could cancel the return and she could pay my office my fees and wait for the IRS to issue a check to her. She still said no and refused to sign the cancellation papers. On April 4, her tax refund came through and the same day I issued a check in the amount of $360.00. I mailed to the address on file. About days later Ms*** texted and said "you need to send to my new address not the address she had given me before." I told her I had mailed the check to the address on file and I would wait until I received that check back before issuing another check. So Ms*** texted me again on 5-16-that I should issue her another check and mail to her current address. I told her I would have to stop pay on the first check and she would need to pay that because she knew she was moving and did not bother to give the new address. Well on 5-17-I stopped payment on the original check and mailed her a check on 5-17-certified mail and she was notified on 5-19-to pick up from the post office. She then filed this complaint on 5-23-that I refused to give her a refund but it has been sitting at the post office for nearly week when she did this compliant. I have done what I said I would do but Ms*** is still causing trouble. Had she would gone to pick up the mail when she was suppose to, she would have her money. I have ALL the text messages from Ms*** with all her threats and everything. I just hope this will clear up the untrue story from Ms*** since only a portion of her story was true. She is also complaining about how much I charge and most of my fees are not up to me they are up to the bank and tax service that I use. Her tax return was not a simple return it was a long form with a business expense from Schedule C. Just because it was already in my system with most of her information that is why it doesn't take as long. She was in a hurry that day and just wanted it done quickly. After signing your documents you can cancel with the bank within hours and she had the paper work to show that and she refused.I hope this will be the end of hearing from Ms*** and services will no longer be provided to her.
