To whom it may concern:
This in response to this complaint from *** ***. First she did sign the Paw plan contract, which is enclosed. That states it auto renews each year. We also sent the client a and day letter prior to the renewal
The plan was auto renewed on
6-16-14. The client made the monthly payments for months following this date. Then on October 15th, the card was declines, we called and left her a message on October 16th and again on the 28th. On 11-4-and 11-26-we again called the client and left a message and then her account was charged a declined credit card fee. (Which is also stated in her contract). Her payments were tried again until it finally went through for the total amount owed for over months for the Amount of $
She then called and complained we stole her money and she demanded a refund, the receptionist explained it was for the balance owing and the owner said she declined the renewal. We have no records of her ever returning any calls regarding this or any of the messages we had left her, until now
She verified we have the correct phone number and address
I have enclosed a copy of her contract and her online review stating the same complaint

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I declined the ongoing service at its "renewal". As told to me by the person I spoke to on the phone (twice), the so-called insurance auto-renews if you don't request cancellation. I DID REQUEST CANCELLATION in June 2014. But because the office person at the time did not do her job correctly (for whatever reason), I am being charged for something I do not want and have been met with hostility in trying to get my money back. I was told by the Business manager that "if you request that you want to cancel, we enter that in the system, otherwise it continues. Whoever you told didn't enter it and it's not our fault. There's nothing we can do about it. We tried to contact you but weren't able to".  I NEVER received a message on my phone, through email or even through the mail. At the time (Summer 2014), I had several autopayments coming out of my bank account, and obviously I missed that the money was still coming out for this company - otherwise, I would have called them to find out why they were still charging my account.  The only thing I have EVER received from them are cards stating that "[redacted] is due for XXXX". In fact, I received another from them just yesterday (7/14/2015). Why is it that "No, I don't want this service" didn't mean NO to this company? Because I trusted that the person whose job it was to discontinue my payments to do just that and she didn't do her job - and I am being charged for their error.  They didn't even give me a discounted service when I had their Kitten Plan (and used it) - I certainly wouldn't want to continue paying them for nothing - which is exactly what it is (in my opinion, because of my personal experience). Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I appreciate the resolution. I paid them a large sum of money for the kitten care for [redacted], and was surprised when the charges shown that "I OWE" are even there - which is the main reason I did not want to continue to the care plan further. I will not dispute charges that were owed due to actual pet care. I didn't realize I had carried an outstanding balance on that.
