On 6/24/19 Rafael U. and 3 more people came to my home to install drywall as he had signed in the contract. He also came on 6/29/19.
When they left on 6/24 many objects in my house, in the kitchen and garage went missing. Also, the thieves stole food from my refrigerator; 6 packs of beer, oranges, bananas and apples. There was oranges skin, pieces of leftover apples and bananas that they threw in my recycle bin instead of using the trash can. I came home around 4:30 pm that day and my refrigerator had been basically raided by the thieves. Also, from my garage the stole 3 bottles of Soft Soap advanced Clean 80 Oz each, 102 Oz of Palmolive dish soap, 1 bottle of Ecos Laundry soap, 1 sunblock Alba Botanic, 1 Pier One floral dinner plate, 2 soup bowls lavender, 1 J.C. Penney Mexican style collection dinner plate, 1 large dinner plate lavender, and blue, 1 square shape Mexican style JCPenney salad plate (yellow, blue and red), 2 blue crystal water glasses, 1 square shape Mexican style salad plate ( red white blue and green), 1 large container of dishwasher cascade soap, 1 Seagate backup system, o1 Bluetooth ECOXGEAR, 1 Handwoven white hammock, 1 Ceramic black Mug, 2 Oscar Niemayer Mugs from Brazil that was a Christmas gift from my son, 1 Large 8 OZ Colgate toothpaste, Enya Watermark CD, Eddie Santiago Atrevido e Diferente CD, El Gran Combo Cd - La Universidad de La Salsa, Jerry Rivera CD - Fresco, 5 bags of Joint Compound 45 minutes, a brand new calk gun gold color, a brand new plumbing snake, the Shimano front brakes from my mountain bike (his son, Jefferson U. asked me twice if I rode my bikes). Rafael U.'s son, Jefferson U., was working in a small corner sanding the drywall, but it took him 3 days working on a 3X6 wall. He would go back and forth to the van with items he was taking form the boxes that were stored in the bedroom the thief was working. I found all other boxes that were sealed with tape, were opened and items missing from them.

Refund brand new internal doors I had bought while installing them, by cutting too much at the bottom of the door and on the sides, wasting the doors. He never finished his job, he never installed the baseboards as we had discussed and he signed the paper as a contract. I paid this man $1,700.00 to install the drywall in 2 different closets, an 8X16 wall and a 3X6 wall. He also promised in writing he was going to finish inside the closets and never did. Before starting the job, Rafael asked to go to Home Depot to with me because he wanted to pick up what type of material he would be working with. He got 10 bags of Joint compound but for the job he was doing it would take only 3 bags of joint compound. While I went to the shelves to grab an item I had forgotten, he took a full bag with rags and threw in my purchases. When I went back to the cashier, he was already gone to this van to load the first items and materials. I only found out about the rags, after look in the receipt I paid. I conf
The client was referred to me we did the job but this woman showed unstable behavior she had complained about previous contractor's who worked at the house that walked off the job and the charges are false/bogus. This is slander , she has harassed my employee with calls. My lawyer will file a civil complaint against her.

Rafael U., the owner of Angelique Drywall, signed a contract with me promising to:
Install 2 sets of hooks to hang hammocks (" 2 maca ganchos installed" - written in Spanish), mud on East wall of a bedroom, mud on a small book shelf wall, install a toilet flush kit, install 4 doors in each of the bedrooms, install drywall in a bathroom closet, install the trims, shelves and base boards.
I am providing the copy of the contract that Mr. U. signed with me on 6/23/19.
It appears that the old man who provided me with the phone number for the contractor is the one who responded to my complaint. This person man has no part in the construction of the closets in my home and never came to my house. I saw this person once while walking my dog. He was in a house that was being renovated in my neighborhood. I asked for a referral for a small drywall job and he gave me Rafael U.'s phone number. And he told me that Rafael needed to be watched, otherwise he would not do his job like he was supposed to.
