I am rejecting this response because: Pulling 8 teeth at once is out of the ordinary and should have contacted me. I have all the estimates and the highest one is $578.70, not $848.67 what you charged me.   You also never informed me that there would be a charge for an installment plan

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.  We value all of our clients and their pets and our goal is to provide the best care possible.[redacted] was scheduled to bring her dog "Callie" in on February 15, 2016 for a professional dental exam and cleaning.  An estimate was given based off...

the exam that was done at "Callie's" annual physical.  The estimate included the cost for extractions.  It is very difficult to determine on a routine exam how many if any extractions are necessary until the teeth are cleaned and a complete exam is done under anesthesia.That morning [redacted] decided she wanted her other dog "[redacted]l" to have the dental rather than "Callie".  [redacted] was given an estimate at that time.  [redacted] was told there may be extractions required when this dog was examined in January.  When a pet is under anesthesia for a dental cleaning and extractions are needed, we do not routinely contact the client.  The purpose of a professional dental exam and cleaning is to restore the pet's mouth to health.  It is more painful to leave damaged and unhealthy teeth in a pet's mouth, plus it leads to other systemic diseases including heart and kidney disease.In an effort to help [redacted], we offered to let her make three installment payments and also gave her the dental promotion discount.  We gave her a further discount of $171 which was the difference between the actual charges and the estimate amount.  I feel [redacted] was treated fairly.  In regards to the billing fee, any business charges clients to carry a balance. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

We have sent [redacted] an invoice on Tuesday, May 17 for the balance of $209.36 with a note that we would forego the May service charge if paid in full by the end of May.  Today we received a request from the Clinton Veterinary Hospital requesting [redacted]'s pet records.  In a further effort to resolve this issue, I will credit [redacted]'s account for all service charges leaving the balance of $194.44.  [redacted] may pick up her records here at her convenience.Thank you.Nancy R**Hospital Manager
