Ms. [redacted], I am writing in response to complaint # [redacted]. We have spoken to this customer on several occasions both in our Detroit and Southfield locations trying to resolve this issue. Ms. [redacted] had a partner in her loans that were held in our Southfield store. ...
Whenever loans came in/out, or interest was due both Ms. [redacted] and her partner came into the store together. On a few occasions, there were altercations between the two partners, where our guards had to actually escort them out of the store due to their disruption. Ms. [redacted] was always the individual that presented the money to us when conducting any sort of business. According to the law we are required to file a form 8300 when we receive [redacted] greater than $10,000 from one individual either within a 24 hour period, or within a 12 month period when it refers to the same loan/purchase or related items, thus we filed the forms on Ms. [redacted]. In the complaint Ms [redacted] states that she had moved out of the state and that she did not redeem the merchandise, in fact her partner did but according to our records we show that Ms. [redacted] redeemed the merchandise. We are more than happy to make any corrections needed and submit a corrected form if Ms. [redacted] can show us in a solid form that she was not in town at the time of the redeem.
