Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me, as the first step in a full
resolution involving Angelos Towing repaying me for the damages caused to my vehicle. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

We will follow up directly with the customer to resume an open dialogue regarding the claim

We did replace the cluster with a working used cluster He stats that we didn't We did The issues is that he wants us to change the mileage His mileage from old cluster was over 200K and he say it is supposed to be 114K So I shared with the shop The
shop said the mileage was over 200K I told him that the shop working on his car can't do that The shop ran a mileage report on the vin and found out the mileage had been tampered with many times and changed So I then explained that we couldn't change, only replace with other used cluster I have many emails documenting the service and conversation I am willing to do what is right, but the shop we used will not change the mileage Thank you.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Angelo's Towing insists on accusing me of trying to falsify my vehicle mileage as a threat to avoid having to fix my car using proper methodsThe irony is that the only entity which have falsified vehicle records is themThey, in this Revdex.com conversation chain and in written emails (attached) to me stated that they believed that my vehicle had in excess of 285,miles on itIn this same conversation chain they admitted that they put a used odometer in my vehicle with far less miles then the 285,miles they believe my car hadThey were OK with doing this as long as it meant that they didn't have to pay a dealer to do the work properlyThis argument by them that they are trying to do the right thing is hidden behind the veil of they are trying to save money and threaten their customers until they leave them alone. They claim to have vehicle records which show falsified vehicle mileage and that I am responsible for illegally manipulating my carThey have threatened to report me to the Department of Justice to avoid having to fix my car properlyAny records which they do have were presented with the aid of my long time mechanic by me to establish the correct mileageI've never tried to hide anything but only tried to have my car fixed properlyI made the mistake of allowing Angelo's Towing to fix the vehicle using their mechanicUnfortunately their mechanic couldn't do what the dealer could do, that is, align the vehicle mileage with the actual mileage shown in the on board computerAgain, I am asking that they have my car taken to the dealerIt appears that they have agreed to do soI am concerned that I am going to be left holding the billI'll like them to arrange payment to the dealer to guarantee that I don't end up paying for this repair

Angelo's Towing has
documentation of the vehicles original odometer readings that do not match customer statements.
Angelo's wants to
do the right thing. Angelo's replaced the cluster with a perfectly working cluster If taking the car to the dealership is
what the customer wants; that is fine.
But Angelo's Towing
will request documentation of all mileage readings from the dealership on the vehicle and request a report of mileage history and if the mileage has been changed since owner has taken possession of the vehicle Or if the mileage is lower on the used working cluster than the original is then our problem is solved We will need a report and a visual with the dealership that this dash cluster is not
properly working with the mechanic that installed the used dash cluster and the mileage reading.. Thank you. *** ***
