Angelo's Grove Apartments

I[redacted] lives at[redacted],along with my husband and my 8 &9 year old sons. We have been here since April 1,2013. We are always on time with our rent. The purpose of the complaint is because I FOLLOWED ALL THE NECESSARY STEPS NEEDED BUT IT IS ALWAYS AN EXCUSE AS TO WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG ON GETTING OUR CARPET REPLACE AND GETTING A DISHWASHER FIX.I HAVE BEEN TOLD SINCE MARCH 29,2014 after we resigned our lease that we with get new carpet due to the wear and tear from the previous tented. I have seen so many tent getting there carpet replace, when was told 3months ago that I was the next on the list. The manager is on my voicemail, apologizing ,saying that she for got to put my order in...My carpet is coming up in all rooms in my home. I can't even vacuum my floor because of all the humps in my floor. I feel less important when we all pay our rent. Please help me get something done. We are pleased to report all items have been repaired or replaced. The following is our position in this case and we feel that[redacted] failed to report her complaint properly. Our management office did not receive any complaints from[redacted] regarding the following issues. 1. Dishwasher 2. Light in the closet 3. Air in the 2"" bedroom 4. Kitchen light As stated in her letter, she may have addressed these issues directly with the maintenance staff. The maintenance staff is instructed to inform residents to call the management office in order to file a maintenance work order. All complaints are then recorded into our system and a work order is then printed. We strictly prohibit our staff from performing work without a work order. The men are required to justify their time as well as the parts used. We have spoken to[redacted] and asked her to always contact the office when lodging a request for service. We further explained that most service request is completed within 72 hours and should she fail to receive a completed work order in her apartment, she should contact the office immediately. We asked her to address the office only with her request.. When[redacted]'s lease was renewed, management did promise that they would receive new carpet. We explained to her at this time she signed her lease that we had several residents ahead of her and she was looking at a timeline of the middle of July.[redacted] did not indicate she had a problem with this arrangement. We feel[redacted] only had an issue when she saw other resident receiving new carpet. To accommodate[redacted], we did move up her installation date of the carpet.
