I went to the Angel of Mechanic for service repairs. I paid $2,000, and the vehicle was never fixed.
I went to the Angel of Mechanic for service repairs. The vehicle is a 2011 BMW 328i. The mechanic in question diagnosed the vehicle and stated it needed to have the valve cover gasket set replaced, direct ignition coil, spark plug and the solenoid. This vehicle was dropped off 03/01/19, and I picked up the vehicle a week later. A day later after picking up the vehicle, this was Saturday 03/09/19, the vehicle continued with the same problem, and on top of it none of the electrical accessories were working. No interior light, turning signals were not functioning, the audio on the car would not turn, power windows would not go down, power mirrors would not function. I took it back that following Monday, and the mechanic advised it was covered under his 1 year warranty. I left the car there once again, and the mechanic took 5 days with my car. I called him on multiple occasions and he failed to return my calls in a timely manner. Then finally on Friday of this week, now March 22, he calls to tell the vehicle is ready, but, he must charge $80 for a sealant he needed to buy. Something I never authorized nor was informed about prior. I refused to pay the additional $80 and picked up my vehicle that evening at 5:00pm. Not even 24 hours later, the car continued with the same exact problem. Since I was weary at this point, I went to another mechanic. The new mechanics, BimmerTech, diagnosed my car and stated the valve cover gasket was not replaced nor the solenoid. It was only sealed off, and there was old oil all over, which cause the white smoke I kept seeing and smelling. The new mechanic sent me pictures of the alleged parts that were replaced, but were not ever changed. The Angel of Mechanic shop did not fix the mechanical problem and added and electrical problem to the car. I did attempt to contact the mechanic/owner of the shop via phone call. He accused me of lying along with the many obscenities he launched at me via phone call and hung up the call.
I want a full refund of the $2,000 given for the repairs that were never done. I gave this money in cash. This mechanic gave me a receipt for $1,500, and did not add an additional $500 he charged me for a hose he stated was burned and burned other areas of the engine.

Mr. came to my shop on March 2nd, 2019 he brought his BMW in a towing truck. He had taking his vehicle to another mechanic and the other mechanic had damage his vehicle. I change the solenoid, valve cover casket, spark plugs and the direct ignition.
Mr. was charge $1,500 for the work including the everything that I change, he paid in full and was given a receipt.
He took the vehicle to another mechanic so that they can change the hose that was damage in the engine area and the other mechanic damage the vehicle again, and he wanted me to fix it telling me that it was my fault when I have prove that the vehicle was in working conditions when it was given back and I have pictures of the parts that was taken out of the vehicle and replaced.
Mr. likes to jump from mechanic to mechanic then he comes to my shop and wants me to fix what the other mechanics had broken. My work is 100% guaranty, and I have no problem fixing or replacing a part if it was my negligent, but I will not keep getting blame for other mechanics bad work.

Let's begin with the fact that I paid the mechanic a total of $2,000, which he failed to add on the receipt, even after I asked him to provide me with an updated receipt. Secondly, the vehicle came in due to it startling and shaking. I went to a mechanic in late 2017, and I did not have any vehicle issues until recently, where I took the vehicle to Angel's of the Mechanic. The previous mechanic only changed a starter and the car since then did not have any other issues. Angel's of the Mechanic failed to changed to valve cover gasket, nor did they change the solenoid. Charged me for a direct ignition coil which was not needed nor replaced. The sum of $2,000 is what I paid. Furthermore, Angel's of the mechanic changed the FRM for a faulty one, causing all the vehicle interior accessories to malfunction, and the vehicle did not have this problem prior to coming to the mechanic. This matter requires further investigation and will be settled in court. The Angel's of the Mechanic should be fully investigated for damaging cars and scamming its customers. There's a slew of negative reviews and a previous Revdex.com complaint towards this business for it's deceitful practices.
Ruined my transmission and became violent when addressed.

WARNING:DO NOT LET THIS SHOP TOUCH YOUR CAR!
I was recommended to use Angel of Mechanics by friend of his. The owner Rafael towed my vehicle to his shop and while doing so, he damaged my transmission and attempted to blame me for the damage.
The car is an AWD and must be towed on a flatbed or it will ruin the back end and transmission. I ONLY needed my thermostat replaced but Rafael proceeded to "fix" other things he deemed necessary without asking for my consent. Before taking the vehicle, he quoted me $175, once I arrived the bill was $580 cash only.
I disputed and asked for an explanation and he became defensive and confrontational. His coworkers say he has PTSD. Rafael said if I didn't like it, to call the cops or take my car in pieces. I did both and now my vehicle is in worse condition than before. Unbelievable.
I want a full refund and I won't charge him for the damage to my transmission.

Allow me to be specific so there is no confusion..
I left my car at a different auto shop who stated they couldn't work on the vehicle at the moment but recommended I call Angel of Mechanics. I did so and the owner confirmed he can pick up the vehicle in his tow truck and he would call me once he had the vehicle in his possession. I didn't get a call so I called him back and he stated he had already towed the car to his shop. I then proceeded to tell him the specific job that was needed, nothing more, which was just changing a thermostat and which I provided the parts for. He stated he understood and quoted me $175 plus $80 for the tow. I agreed and awaited his call back once the job was done.
We spoke the following day and he stated he was almost done and now quoted me $580! I asked what for and he stated he fixed several other items, (including a leak from the transmission) I didn't authorize him to do, and he told me verbatim " If you don't like it, come pick up your car in pieces and take it to another shop, but you will still pay for the labor!" I can guarantee if you call and speak to this man, you will see there is no talking, only yelling, threats, and demands he makes. I did not authorize any other repairs and the template he uses on the receipt he provides even states I would need to authorize any other repairs, but I guess he overlooked his own paperwork. (There is no signature next to this part on the receipt or consent provided. I have copies as proof in case he attempts to alter anything)
I told him I would pick up the car the following day, Saturday, because I was at work. I called, back to back, on Saturday until he finally calls back and states the radiator is now cracked and leaking coolant and would cost me even more money. I told him to stop touching my car immediately, and googled his shop to find the address.
Upon arriving, the owner and his associate were super confrontational, kept implying he was a past marine, and "it is what it is"
Outnumbered and to avoid any further argument, I paid what he requested, and decided I would attempt to trade the vehicle into a dealership because of the stress and damage he caused.
He offered to tow the vehicle to the dealership for me and proceeded to hook the car up to his tow truck (from the front only) and I joined him on the ride to the dealer.
The vehicle is an ALL WHEEL DRIVE and must be towed on a flat bed to avoid damage to the transmission. You would think him being a mechanic, plus offering towing services, that he would be knowledgeable of such procedures. This explains why my car was leaking transmission fluid when it first arrived to his shop after he towed it, and he deemed it necessary to repair without my consent. He towed it again to the dealer by the front wheels only, and stated it was OKAY because it was in Neutral- WRONG.
Again, a simple google search proves otherwise, but his aggressive and confrontational demeanor allows no room for conversation.
I want all my money back, $580, and I will not escalate this matter and charge him for the damage to my transmission. I have spoken to our family lawyer who is ready to represent me, which will result in legal fees the owner of this shop will be responsible for.
