Angel's Tires

I am rejecting this response because: I don't have any  faith or confidence and that business so . I think I'm being completely fair and asking for only have not the full amount . because it is because of your negligence those lug nuts were forced on I can I have my van parked any further I'm going to need to take it in myself

I am rejecting this  response because I rather take it to a  professional a company where the job is going to get done right I would like the  Angel tires company to pay $200 which is half of the cost.

The customer came to us to replace his old lug nuts with new ones he bought at America's Tires here in Turlock. He said that the guys at Americas tires told him that the ones they gave him were the correct ones for his vehicle so we put them on like we have done hundreds of times. First, we take off...

the old lugs and put the new ones on by hand and once the lugs are hand tightened we use the impact wrench to tighten them more so that they do not come loose. All of the new lugs went on fine. The customer came back a few hours later and said that he could not get the new lugs off so I tried to use the impact wrench to loosen them, it didn't work so I stopped because if I kept using the wrench it could snap off the whole bolt.     It turned out to be that the lugs he came to us with were not the correct ones for his vehicle but there was no way for us to know that. That problem should be resolved between him and Americas Tire, we just installed them but they sold him the wrong lugs. When a customer brings us something to install ,the customer knows for sure that that part will fit to their vehicle. We cant check for something if we don't know what we're checking for.     As for resolving this, my boss says that he is willing to help him but there are other places where he can get the repairs done other than [redacted] that do not charge as much.

My boss said that he is going to help replace the lugs but with our mechanic. We never denied helping the customer we just told him to wait 2 weeks while our mechanic came back from vacation.

Review: I purchase lug nuts from American tires for $50 so I figured I would go and have Angel tire install it to save money but when angels tires installed the lug nuts they were the wrong lug nuts for that Van and wrong threads so I went to [redacted] change & Auto Service [redacted] and they told me the cost was going to be 392 with tax to replace the parts that were damagedDesired Settlement: I Would like them to repair or pay for the repair For the damage that was caused by the negligence and not looking to make sure they were the proper parts
