As a friend of a dear family who suffered the tragic, unexpected loss of their oldest child, I was asked to accompany the family as they sought to find someone to accommodate them in their search for final appropriate rites of their beloved son. After hearing a proposal from a funeral home that was totally unreasonable as well as impossible for this family to afford under any circumstances.
