Good morning JesiIn regards to the consumer complaint filed with you regarding “stale texture” on our Salted Caramel Product, I have been able to deduce the following: No recall has taken place on this productA six month historical review of consumer complaints has turned up ZERO complaints against this product under the “stale” or “texture” categoriesA six month historical review of consumer complaints has shown no trend regarding any issues with this productWe have no record of this consumer having reached out to us with their concern
I am rejecting this response because: guess company think I have a wild imagination or is delusional need to reheck their call logs and fit their website either way we have had a bad eperience
I am rejecting this response because: when receiving an email no where were there any sort of offer to compensate nor address what was sent to determine the product and it existing company website has issues if it did not retrieve data sent and address. had company also sent receipt and/or copy of the filing I would have the info
Good afternoonWe are aware of Ms***'s concerns and have been in contact with her a few times since March 10thBelow is the timeline of events: 5/We received our initial email from Ms*** from *** ***5/Our Consumer Response person (Beth) responded to Ms*** asking for the
lot code from the bag, the flavor of the bags and let her know we would be sending her a Self Addressed Sealed Envelope in hopes to get the product back for testing.5/Ms*** responded telling us that she had thrown away all of the productAs a result, there was no traceable information that would have lead us to investigate a product, location, date of production, line of production, etc5/We responded to Ms*** letting her know that without any discernable information there was nothing we could do to test, as, or even trend consumer complaints as we did not have the lot code5/Ms*** responded telling us that she sent the information initiallyWhat she sent initially was only the UPC (which would tell us the product and nothing about the production date or location), which again, was inputted wrong5/I formalized a response letting Ms*** reinforcing what I explained in the 5/correspondence that it was unfortunate, but it is physically impossible for us to do anything to evaluate the product or any trends with the productUnfortunately this email was not forwarded on by Beth until 5/30, the fact of the matter being that it did not include any additional information than we had already shared. It is my belief that Beth, in good faith, communicated as best she could considering the situation, not having any production/bag information, and with no request for action by the consumerWe would be happy to reach back out to Ms*** a fourth time if you would likePlease let me know if there is anything additional you might need from usRegards, Dan ***Corporate Q.AManager
