I still have not received a copy of my signed contract that showed I was to get new...
shingles. I was told by [redacted] when I signed contract that I was getting new shingles and that he needed half money down so that he could go buy them and my contract had written on it new shingles. I have been told that the shingles that were used were shingles that were aged and had been sitting around somewhere as granules were coming off. I did notice that my deck was full of the toppings or shingle granules. I have been sent photos of the roof that was put on and was told roof will not last 30 years as should but may last only 10 due to aged product.

I am rejecting this response because I have been promised numerous times over the last nine months that work will begin on the roof. I have even prepaid $4,000 upfront in additional consideration to get the project up and running. Every promise made to start the project has not been met and I have not been given a reason. Every time I call or text for an update on when we can get started or why the roof has not been replaced, I either get no response or I am told that I would get an update soon. However I never get an update as promised. If there are extenuating circumstances, why have I not been told about them? I have lost all confidence in this roofing firm and would like to get my money back so I can get my roof replaced by a reputable firm.

I feel that this complaint is unjustified because we did go back out on more than one occasion. I was asked to get there as soon as possible and we did, but were told by an angry lady of the house, telling my people not to bother her while she was eating. My roofer told me that he had called ahead...
