This is a response to a complaint filed with the Revdex.comOn January **, [redacted] and her fiance [redacted] I made a payment of $5,cashThis was a payment for a wedding Reception on October [redacted] They had a remaining balance of $4, [redacted] I signed the receipt that clearly statedAll payments are non refundable [redacted] had called me on explaining to me she would no longer want to do the event at our eventI told her that all payments are nonrefundableShe was very adamant on getting her money backI explained to you that this is a commitment you make make when you sign the receiptWe have blocked off that date for over monthWe have told potential customers that date is bookedAnd now you want to cancel? She continued to tell me if I could at least give her something backI told her we can give her a one year credit with a date change fee of $1,She said she was not getting married any time in the near futureI told her I can give back $3,as a costumer loyaltyAnd that if she ever had an event she would be more than happy to host with usNext day her finance came and picked up the check for $3,500.00.We are in the business to make customers not lose themWe tried our level best to help this customerIt was all settled on I do not understand why this is an issue nowWe did not even need to give back the 3,or $5,in that caseWe have signed receipt stating All payments are non refundable

I have read the complaint given by the complainantOn July *** Golden Terrace Banquet Hall did not hire or pay for any Valet Service or Valet CompanyIf Valet was indeed hired it was hired directly by the Host of the EventWe have no contract for Valet service to be provided by our Venue
on the date in questionConcerning the alleged accident, if there was an accident then the Police would have had to make a report and the information of the alleged driver should be on the police reportWe have tried on many occasions to explain this to the complainant but she has refused to listenWe are very sorry to hear about this matterIf there is anything further we as the venue can help with we are happy to do so
