The biller is rude and incompetent. Due to the horrible x ray tech and the horrible biller my child in pain was dismissed and the biller laughed at us when we left. The biller does not know the legalities of our insurance and denied her fault and denied trying to rectify her mistakes and instead flatly loudly and very disgusting in action dismissed my son from getting treatment that was in fact not even in need of prior approval. The crass dismissal was due solely to the billers incompetence and lack of knowledge. The biller is a loud mouth boisterous rude incompetent person lacking professionalism.
Scenario:
Xray tech takes photo
Child needs root canal
Biller does not know the insurance does not need prior authorization for the procedure due to the child being a minor
The biller then denies the service
I the parent then call the insurance company and they explain in detail that the child is entitled to the procedure due to a prior authorization is NOT needed for a minor as of last year ( something the biller obviously did not know)
The biller yells that she does not care what the insurance company told us
The biller flaty refuses to call the insurance company and rectify her mistake
The biller refuses the child much needed medical/dental attention
The biller refuses doing anything correctly and denies her lack of knowledge
The biller laughs at us when we leave
