Review: Among other items, I purchased a two-piece Magaschoni blue floral print sweater set at Anik (from Amberlee) for $421.35 on July *, 2015. When I got home I realized it was damaged. I returned it to the store the next day just after the store opened and was told, by Amberlee, that she would arrange to order a new sweater set directly from the Magaschoni to replace it. After a week and a half, Amberlee called to say that one of the two pieces had come in. I picked that up on July [redacted]. It did not appear to be a new piece, but I decided to take Amberlee at her word and proceeded to wait for the second piece, which I was told would be delivered to my home. A piece was delivered to my home a few days later, however, it was not a new piece. In fact, it was the same piece I had purchased on July [redacted] damaged in the same place in the same way. In other words, they tried to pass off the old damaged piece as a new piece. Wholly dishonest and not the sort of customer service one expects when spending $1,500 on clothes. I immediately decided I would no longer do business with Anik and called to let Amberlee know I would be returning the sweater set. On July **, 2015, I returned both pieces of the sweater set to the store. Instead of promptly issuing a refund, Amberlee asked me to write down my name, address, and credit card number (FRAUD ALERT!!) and told me that she would "send it to the office" and that I could expect to see a refund of $421.35 on my credit card within 7 days. My boyfriend and other sales people in the store witnessed this. I also have a return receipt. It has since been 9 days. There is no refund on my credit card. I spoke with Amberlee two days ago and she said she would ensure the refund would be issued that day (August *, 2015). Needless to say it was not. I called again today (August *, 2015) and Amberlee immediately asked if she could "call me right back." I agreed and gave her my number. As you might expect, she did not call me back. I am horrified by the service and dishonesty displayed by this purportedly "high-end" business. I will not shop there again and I will do my best to ensure that my friends and acquaintances avoid it. I am again demanding the refund I am entitled to. Please be assured that I will dispute the charge with credit card as well. As things stand, Anik has had my $421.35 since July *, 2014 and an entire month later, I have neither a refund nor the sweater set I paid for. Unacceptable. I am thoroughly disgusted.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of $421.35.
