*** did bring a cat to us for euthanasia and signed a form requesting that service be doneShe did not request an exam to see if the cat was healthy or not. Our staff will always advocate for a pet that is brought in for euthanasia who has no previous medical history and is not visibly
showing any symptoms. Upon further investigation, we found the cat has a legal owner other then the woman who brought the cat in. We had a donor release form signed and the cat was released to our care. We ran multiple lab tests on the cat verifying that it had no medical problems. We do have the information from the microchip and know by who and where it was placed in the cat. We are currently trying to contact the legal owner to return the cat to her. It is unfortunate that the communication between *** and our staff deteriorated to the point where she decided to spit at the staffAt which point, the police were called to remove her from the property

We did see *** ***s pet and did a CBC blood test that showed that the dog had severe anemia. She declined all other diagnostics to determine what was the cause of the anemia. We learned of her concerns on face book and answered her back. We offered to give her a list of
medical conditions that could cause the dog symptoms, diagnostic testing to determine which was the most likely cause, and a list of medical treatments that could be used once the cause was determinedWe have not heard back from her at this time but would be willing to send her that information via you if she does not want to contact us. The diagnosis for her dog at this time is severe anemia of undiagnosed origin. I hope that this information will help her to make a more informed decision on how to treat her pet
