Animal Hospital of Punxsutawney

Review: A check to pay for the spay of a dog was presented in the morning when the dog was dropped off. Funds were being transferred from one account to that account to cover the bill. However - this particular vet electronically ran our check PRIOR to providing the spay and then accused us of presenting a bad check. The check would have been well covered had it been run at the end of the day per normal business procedures. Dr. [redacted] refused to spay the dog and when I offered to give her my debit card information she refused. The dog was traumatized unnecessarily and two volunteers with work schedules who transported the dog some distance were disturbed by this event. Is it even legal to expect payment PRIOR to providing a service? especially a service like this where the exact charges couldn't fully be known until after the work is completed.Desired Settlement: I would like Dr. [redacted] to apologize for the inconvenience she caused our volunteers and myself that day. I would also hope she would make a donation to our organization to help offset the wasted time and efforts we had that day.
