The service technician was thorough and helpful in pointing out some things I did not know about the operation of the door. He also helpfully re-installed the safety feature that had been disabled by previous owner! And -- I purchased a new storm/screen door for the back to match the one on the front door. The salesperson who called on me took measurements and showed me all of the attributes of my new door. It was installed very professionally and neatly, and I am very happy with the results. This is an excellent company with which to do business!

We had AE Door service our garage door today Billy J*** was the serviceman He was thorough, friendly, did a great job, and offered helpful advice on keeping our door working at its best We have been using AE Door since the 1980's for both our current and previous homes We keep calling them for service and entry and garage door replacements They have quality products, installation, service, and follow-up They are very neat and professional, and always clean up after the job We are so pleased with them that we recommend them to our friends In fact, they are the only company that we will have service and/or install our doors We have never had a bad experience with them over the past years
A&E Doors camed to install a new garage door The technician comes out puts up the door, but in the process takes down my garage door opener without my consent In doing that my home warranty would not cover my garage door opener therefore causing me my deductible I was forced to pay for the garage door opener in full If A & E technician would not have taken the garage opener down I would have only had to pay a deductible of one hundred dollars The technician is claiming he was doing me a favor which in fact he did not He should not have taken down the opener He took down without my permission It was already down once he finished the job Now A & E doors donot want to reimburse me the hundred dollars their technician costs me
I contracted with AE Door & Window Coto remove an existing entry door and install a new entry door purchased from AE Door & Window Co With the exception of re-installation of an existing security system door switch that was noted in detailed e-mail communication between AE Door & Window Coand me, there was no indication that AE Door & Window Co planned to reuse existing/used materials to accomplish the job of new door installation At the close of the installation, I was advised old trim was reused and that I would need to pay an additional sum ($153.00), representing approximately 9% beyond the total door purchase and installation contract price, in order to have only new materials used

The difference between the auto's being in the garage or outside is they don't get rained on/sun not beating down on the vehiclesProblem is the strips around the door, well the side strip came broken so they had to order a replacementAE Door busted the other stripThey said they had to order it alsoCommunication is awful; we even sent them a couple emails to just bring the strips hereWe shouldn't have to go fetch them?
