Animals Be Gone

Owner of business did not inform me of "wildlife inspection fee" of $95 before he arrived and charged me.I'm having a very unpleasant experience with the guy who runs Animals Be Gone. I contacted him back in January about some squirrels who'd taken up residence in my walls. He came out and suggested massive repairs all over my house and left me a bill for 95 for "wildlife inspection". He did not inform me ahead of time of this charge and when I questioned it, he got angry and threatening. Desired SettlementI don't think I should have to pay the 95- If I had known he was going to charge me for coming and looking at the house, I would not have wanted him to come. I don't think he should be able to charge me without telling me ahead of time I'm going to be charged for what should have been a free inspection.Business Response letter was sent to wrong address .address is[redacted] .mr [redacted] was informed of inspection fee just like anyone who call animals be gone for services could not make mr [redacted] understand that abg is not a pest control company.we are a problem wildlife control company .pest and wildlife control are two different types of businesses.all professional wildlife companies charge for inspections.abg inspects for a complete solution to keep the animals out of peoples homes then gives estimate for animal removal and repairs that have to take place to keep animals out of walls crawl spaces and attics.mr [redacted] was not happy with inspection because in order to completely keep birds out of his walls the rodents out from under house and other animal problems in attic it was going to take wood replacement work to the foundation and more to keep animals out of his home. wood on house was rotten and falling woodpecker,squirrel holes ever where foundation and roof system had many animal entry points.home was in such bad condition, not painted no exterior woodwork ever replaced roof system in bad shape roof never cleaned off and he was feeding birds beside house. all these things are the reason mr [redacted] has all these problems. told mr.[redacted] will fix woodpecker holes in siding if that's what he wanted to do but it will not solve problem. We guarantee that the work we do will keep the animals out of the house. when we give an estimate to repair the problem, it has to include all areas of problem. he did not like all of the repairs mentioned that would guarantee the animals would not get back in. animals be gone makes 98 percent of your customers very happy. the other 2 percent would not be happy if the work was free.Sincerely,[redacted] N.
