I would like to bring this complaint to conclusion.  The following information has been gathered from [redacted] who manages the program in question, the following dialog is from [redacted] the [redacted] Regional Sales Manager and their program fulfillment center. [redacted], Below is the explanation...

that I got back from our fulfillment company.  Based on how the program was structured, they were not at the higher tier when they purchased the product, thus they got paid on the lower level (5%).  Please let me know how you would like to proceed. Thank you,[redacted],  0010220530A[redacted] DVM  MN It looks like this customer was originally auto enrolled under tier 6 based on their performance in the 2013 fall vet program; which is only 5%.  The customer was moved up to tier 3 in September unfortunately for this customer last year the level change only took effect the first of the month that the level change was received.  (Since it was received in September via a FIX inquiry).  These purchases were made in June.  Please let me know if you need any other information. Thanks,[redacted] Thus he only qualified for the 5% as it is based off prior year purchases – all of which is managed by [redacted].  If you have additional questions or want to see the details of the program please reach out directly to [redacted], who is copied on this message and email is: [redacted]ald.[redacted].com We will communicate our finding to Dr. [redacted]. Please confirm this closes the complaint and no further action is required or will be taken. Kind Regards, [redacted]President & CEOANIMART, LLC – Beyond Products.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Thank you for dealing my complaint about the rebate. First of all, the story was changed from blaming from Animart, Inc. to myself. When I received the rebate with 5%, I called the [redacted] Representative of Minnesota. He told me that let him do search and find out why I got 5% instead of 10%. They he called me back and told me that he talked the people in Animart, Inc. and his company people indicating Animart, Inc. was not registered company with [redacted] at the time of purchase in June 2014. However, Animart, Inc. registered with [redacted] in July 2014. Now, I see from the response that I am the one who did not register with [redacted] with appropriate Tier and I was automatically upgraded to Tier 3 in September 2014; therefore, I did not get 10% because purchase was in June 2014. I understand and it could be the case if I did not fax the registration form of Tier3 with [redacted] on June 5, 2014 before my purchase from Animart, Inc. I also checked with Animart, Inc. indicating whether I can get the rebate of 10%, and the answer was "yes". Then I purchased the product that assuming I would get 10% rebate. I have attached the registration document that I faxed to [redacted] before my purchase on June 5, 2014, and confirmed by phone call.p.s. A couple days ago, Animart, Inc. contacted me by email indicating the same response of not registering with [redacted]. I have sent the my registration document to them by email.

We had discovered a nitrate issue in our saltwater aquarium (5 ppm), and had been been purchasing saltwater from Animart to do water changes weekly. Our nitrates continued to rise over the course of about 4 weeks (40+ ppm). We lost several snails, a blood fire shrimp, our star polyps coral and nearly lost our acan coral that we've had for three years. On 10MAR2016, we tested our water that we purchased from Animart (read to do so in an article), and it was 10 ppm. Clearly their water just continued to "feed" the issue in our aquarium. I made them aware of this over the phone that same day. They did refund our money for that purchase on March 10th, but proceeded to tell us that they had tested their water after speaking with me and said it was 0 ppm. Then suggested (accusatory) that maybe there was something in our bucket (that we use to purchase the water). This tells me one of two things; either (1) they're lying regarding the results of their nitrate test on their water or (2) they do not know how to properly perform the nitrate test. We are very dissatisfied with this place of business, and thus will be taking our business elsewhere. Considering they are an animal pet store, I fear that they are not looking out for the welfare of animals/people's beloved pets.
Please note, after doing just two water changes with saltwater that we'd made ourselves (using distilled water), our nitrate level is already down to between 5 and 10 ppm.
