At one point we were able to print off warranty and give them to our customers at final payment but over the last months metro the roof company where we buy our material from has been sold not once but twice now so the policy's have changed to how to file the new warranties so we had to wait till
all the dust has settled to do warrantiesI thought that Tom had known that, I also told him that his contract could be used as a receipt for warranty claims, so he is the 1st one we needed to get a separate receipt for work done

Hello [redacted], we are aware of [redacted] issue with her gutters and the matter has been resolved. We installed 6" seamless gutters with carbon fiber mesh gutter covers on her house to satisfactory standards. She stated that we sold and charged her for the "Gutter Helmets" which was untrue. She purchased...

the carbon fiber mesh gutter covers instead, which is why we asked for an extra $200 to fix the problem with the new gutter covers. In her complaint she said the following - 1: the gutters overflowed. 2: we left bolts and screws all over the yard. 3: the downspouts weren't attached to the house/elbows were lose. 1: The gutter system we installed is completely seamless. The gutter covers we sold her however managed to allow pine needles to clog her downspout holes thus allowing water to overflow in the gutter and not allow any water to drain. We cannot guarantee every situation to where as pine needles fall (act of nature). We then took her up on the ladder to show her that her downspout hole was completely clogged and told her if she would like to spend an additional $200 to upgrade her gutter covers we would be more then happy to change them out for her. She then took it to social media posting a review saying how awful our company is and even harassing the guys that work with us via text messages/posting harassing comments on our Facebook page. 2: Before we left the job site we picked up as best as we could and told her that there may be some screws (from removing old gutters) and that we forget to bring our magnet along to pick them up. From our understanding she was completely aware and was fine with that. 3. As part of our agreement we did not install new downspouts, we reused the old downspouts and reattached them accordingly. We installed new gutter covers for her at no additional cost to her on 8-24-17 At Steel Shield we strive for the best customer service that we can provide and also take pride in our 5 star home advisor rating as a business. Thank you for your time, if you have any further questions don't hesitate to call us at 715-572-4488

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I disagree with what they replied. The owner of the company showed us the gutter helmet that was to be installed on our home. We all walked around the house and they were aware of the pitch of the roof and the trees in the yard. He stated that the six inch gutters with the gutter helmet would work perfectly for our home. The next day they installed the 6 inch gutters but I was unaware that they used a cheap substitute. No they did not replace the downspouts, but however they had to disconnect them from the house to attach the gutter, which they neglected to reattach. The left bolts and screws all over the front and back of the house. What company forgets to pickup the mess they make. We had to take the front and back of our yard to dispose of the s screws and bolts.  I sent them pictures of the gutters overflowing and they ingnored them. So l posted the pictures on Facebook. They have been back 4 times and the gutters still overflow. They were here again last week and tried to convince me that the trees were the problem, the trees were here when they accepted the job and were paid for the job with a two-year warranty. They also had to fix the gutter on the front of the house because it wasn't pitched correctly. I don't think they a qualified to install gutters when they have to come back numerous times and still the problem still exists. They have beliitted my husband and lied a about numerous times. I have contacted a lawyer regarding this and if we can't agreed on a settlement now, l will pursue this in claims court. Apparently the company did not follow State law regarding the contract.
