Bad Customer service concerns and non professional I first made an appointment with a certain staff and she did not write down the appointment then the owner [redacted] did my hair and the whole time of being present they were using their own language not using English and all customers were Americans .... I was asked to pay for my services before It was complete. I tried to make due with the style but, it was too heavy and I was displeased so I called and asked her what was her policy on dissatisfied customers ... I didn't want any money back I just wanted to know if maybe she could give me a discount on getting my hair re-braided she did not offer anything to help assist in my distress she just continue to blame it on the type of hair I brought if the hair was not good to use then you should have told me that and I could have return the hair to get the correct look instead she braided my hair and the half did it she just braided any type of way ..she did not listen to my concerns she just hang the phone up she did not care how I felt about my hair or her business practices.Desired SettlementI want my money back or half ... I got my hair braided on feb. 6 and I have taken my hair out on the 8th Business Response I am writing in response to Ms [redacted]'s complaint.on said date she came to the shop to get her hair done.She bought her own hair from the Chinese beauty supply.When her hair was done she said she liked it.When she called me to complain that the hair got tangled I told her the hair is not my responsibility since she was the one who brought it.I offered for her to come to the shop so I could see it for myself but she never came.customers do this to us all the time .They want to go out ; come to the shop and get their hair done.After their program is finished they want their money back.We have signs in the shop that say we do not accept complains after you leave the shop and we always ask our cutomers to look in the many mirrors before leaving.We also have a sign that say you pay for service when we start braiding your hair.So many times before we had customers get their hair braided half way; tell us they want to get something from their car and drive off.They would then go to another shop to pay half price to finish their hair.The stories are so many they are unbelievable. We really tried our best to work things with Ms [redacted] but she did not want to work it out.thank you.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)For one this is not true... she did not say anything about coming in to see my hair if she would have said that then I would have not contacted Revdex.com all I wanted was for her to be fair and act like she cared about what happen and try to fix it . I would have even paid something for her to fix it but, she is not being truthful in this matter and I will admit I DID NOT SEE THE SIGNS UP ABOUT IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR HAIR THEN DONT TRY TO COME BACK LATER TO COMPLAIN .. IM VERY OBSERVANT I WOULD HAVE SEEN THEM BUT, IF SO THEN THAT'S MY FAULT ... IM OVER IT NOW I JUST KNOW THAT I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO HER SHOP AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE SHE DID NOT HANDLE THIS SITUATION PROFESSIONAL AT ALL THEY COME OVER HERE TO OUR COUNTRY AND TREAT US LIKE WE ARE NOTHING BUT, WE ARE THE ONE WHO MAKE THEM RICH WITH THEIR AFRICAN BRADING BUT, FOR WHAT I HAVE SEEN I HAVE FOUND THAT MOST OF THEM ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL IM OVER IT SHE CAN KEEP THE MONEY I DONT CARE TO EVEN DEAL WITH THIS ANYMORE.... SHE IS NOT GOING TO SAY THAT SHE IS SORRY OR SHE WAS WRONG

I went to Anita's Hair Braiding Shop for an appt [redacted] I showed an employee a picture of the style and she styled it different from the picture.On the morning of Tues [redacted] I called Anita's Hair Braiding Shop for an appointment. I was told to be there at 4 p.m. Upin arriving at 3:45 p.m. I made my presence and appointment time known. A young lady immediately to my right asked how did I want my hair / braids styled. I then pulled out my cell phone and showed her a picture that I had taken from their businesses Facebook page. She said "ok that won't take long [redacted] will be back soon. I took a seat and said "ok." At about 4:15 p.m. this same young lady, who was servicing another customer walked up to me and said, [redacted] said if you wait she will be back from [redacted] in 45 minutes. I looked at the time and started my count down. At 5:15 p.m. I proceeded to leave bcuz [redacted] never showed up, As I walked out they started to explain she had to leave due to an emergency and if I wait longer she will be back. I explained to them that my lower back was hurting sitting on their low furniture for so long waiting. Then they asked if I would come back if they called me when she got there and I said, "sure." So I wrote my cell # down for them and I left. Time passed [redacted] at 6:10 p.m. I called the shop phone number listed online back to see if [redacted] was back and if they had forgotten about me and I get [redacted] herself. So I introduced myself as [redacted] and her 4 o'clock appt and she sounded very confused. I explained to her that someone was supposed to call me upon her arrival and she said, "who me? Let me call them to see what's going on." I said ok and hung up. 4 minutes later (6:14 p.m.) I get a call from XXX-XXX-XXXX, which ends up being the same young lady who I showed the picture to at 3:45 p.m., which I also found out to be [redacted] sister...on that call she told me I could come back bcuz she was free and she could braid my hair. At that very moment I realized [redacted] was never coming back to the shop. I was waiting for her sister to finish up with the customer that she was working on when I first got there. IT WAS ALL LIES FROM THE BEGINNING! It was also obvious that the shop phone XXX-XXX-XXXX is either [redacted] cell phone or it is forwarded to [redacted] cell phone. So I agreed to come back and I asked the sister to allow me 30 minutes to pick up my daughter and get there and she said ok. Enroute back to the shop, there was a terrible car accident that we were stuck behind so I texted the sister at 6:50 p.m. to inform her of it. The accident was at [redacted] and [redacted] which is only 5 minutes from the shop so I finally got there at 7 ish and she quoted me $120 + $10 for the hair and she started on my head. At about 9:30 or so she had completely finished the front braids. She proceeded to braid the hair all the way to the ends. I was confused when I saw it and I pulled out my cell fone, showed her the picture AGAIN and I said, "this is not like the picture I showed you when I got here." She said, "show to me again." So then she realized her mistake and she said, "oooooh that lady got twists at the top in a bun she pay $170. I was like, "well this is what I showed you upon my arrival and this is what I was expecting," She then stated she could do it for $40 more and I told her had I known all this in the beginning I would have left her shop, meaning declined services, bcuz I was not paying that much money for braids. It was hard to accept the quote for $120 but to increase that price in the middle of the game was wrong! At that point she got into a conversation on her cell phone as she completed the back of my head and never got off the phone until she was completely done braiding. I was very upset by then. My back was hurting, my head was hurting, and my feelings were hurt bcuz I paid $130 for a style that I did not ask for nor did I like. I did not want confrontation with her at this point so I paid her, she took pictures, I said thank you, and I left. As soon as I got in my car I called XXX-XXX-XXXX expecting [redacted] to answer, but no one answered. This call was at 10:50 p.m. IDesired SettlementI am seeking full refund bcuz I gave these ladies at least 3 days, several phone calls, a text message, and ** posts in order to resolve this peacefully. I was not asking for a full refund of $130 and still no cooperation. When I get them on the phone they are very unprofessional and disrespectful bcuz they speak in their native tongue and that is very threatening to me. At this point only a full refund will safice bcuz I would not trust them to do my hair based on their explosive attitudes over the phone and I do not feel safe in her shop.Business Response I am writing in response to a complaint filed by Ms [redacted]. When we take appointments we do write them down and we will send proof. We do speak our languages to each other and English to our customers because the law does not prohibited to speak our language. When I go to do a manicure I don't get mad that they are speaking Chinese to each other.On said date [redacted] the [redacted] Ms [redacted] came to the shop for her appointment and showed Ms [redacted] the style she wanted.I was not the one who did her hair.She said she loved her hair when it was done after looking in the mirror.We have a sign in the shop that clearly states that no complaints are accepted after you step out of the service area.We asked Ms [redacted] if we can take a picture of her hair to post on our [redacted] page. She said "yes" and then pose for those pictures.later on that same night she called me and said she took down her hair and wanted her money back.in the report she said she took it down on [redacted] the [redacted].which version is the truth? After she called me that night I told her to come to the shop the next day to show me that she actually took her hair down but she never did.she took to [redacted] and has been harassing me ever since.She calls me and threatens to shut down my business.We are law abiding citizens and just want Ms [redacted] to leave us alone.We even offered her to come back when she called so we could do her hair.Ms [redacted] is a very intelligent person and can read signs and I don't understand how she missed all the witten signs in the shop.we will send all the evidence we have to support our case.Thank you.[redacted]
