The office contacted her emergency number because several messages were left and not returned regarding a balance on her account.? statements were also sent to her address detailing her amount due.? Her balance was not bogus and has been paid for by her husband.? There will be no additional charges as I assume she will not return to the office.Office policy dictates turning over accounts to a collection agency when statements have been sent with no response/payment.My office has spoken to Jeanne and her husband on the phone and I have personally emailed her husband explaining the charges.? Her claims of the office not returning her calls are false.Her charges were due to an unpaid copay from an office visit, a no-show fee from another date, and late fees.Her claim of not receiving a statement is also false.? She returned one of the statements to the office without payment so clearly she received the bill in the mail.? Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this issue
