ANM Construction Reviews (%countItem)

I paid ANM Construction $700.00 on 03/06/2019 and $425.00 on
03/12/2019 to remove a cracked bathtub and install a new tub with
new hardware. During the removal of bathtub a worker from ANM Construction accidentally cut a water pipe while cutting through
the wall to remove tub enclosure and caused flooding. Per owner of ANM Construction he returned tub and hardware for refunds but refused to send me a refund of $1125.00. I have talked to Alfonso, owner of ANM several times. Every time he has another excuse why he can't send me a refund and now he no longer answers his phone or my messages or emails. I would really appreciate your help in recovering my money. Keep in mind, he has had my money now for over a year!

We have paid $10,000 for deposit + $1,000 for contract signing payment to get the job started and remaining balance to be distributed based on percentage of job completion.Deposit was paid on 12/14/18 and contract payment was paid on 12/10/18.

We have noticed that there has been many days without workers in job sites and ANM Construction asked us for additional money to start the job for electrical, plumbing and framing when we have already paid them a deposit to start work. Our agreement is that if they are about to run out of $10,000, they can schedule with us for an inspection and we pay the progress to keep working.

We wanted to finish this project fast and paid them $8,000 (31% of price to finish elec. and plumbing) for plumbing and electrical to get started without asking what happened to $11,000 to start the job. This was paid on 01/18/19 and we just noticed that there wasn't much work done to finish electrical and plumbing.

We also paid them $3,000 (34% of price to finish framing) to start on framing, because they told us they need money for materials. They keep pushing off the completion dates telling us about their personal problems such as eviction and divorce and no money to buy materials.

We have paid them for $15,000 for demolition, and we still have trashes in the back and front yard that was not removed. ANM Construction have agreed multiple times to get rid of them, but it was not done.

My partners and ANM Construction had a meeting at a job site on Sunday 02/10/19. We agreed that we cannot pay them any more money until we see progress and they will have to keep working on the project with the money we have already paid them.

When I followed up how the project is going on Tuesday, ANM Construction team told me there was nobody at the job site on Monday and Tuesday because they couldn't buy the materials. They told me they worked there about 2 hours on Wednesday and go buy the materials by end of day on Wednesday. So I visited them early in the morning on Thursday
