Review: I bought my house on November [redacted] 2013 from a construction company called ANMAR LLC with the [redacted] being [redacted] also owns [redacted] located in [redacted] According to records, ANMAR LLC was a company that opened in March of 2010. My home was bought by ANMAR LLC in Feb. 2012. As I stated, I bought the home Nov. of 2013. After buying the home, I noticed problems and began researching and found that ANMAR LLC "went out of business" around December of 2013. However on a search of [redacted]'s name and ANMAR LLC business address I found that both companies were the same [redacted] with the same address. Since I bought my home I found multiple issues such as the framing for my back screen door was beamed using broken picture frames; a severe termite infection; front outside stairs were built over a six foot trench filled with water (the trench was hidden with the use 1X3s nailed together. This caused my stairs to rot out so while replacing them, I noticed the stairs were built with inch and a quarter finger jointed pine (used for light weight interior shelving). I also observed that none of the exterior wood (stairs and front porch) was pressurized, primed, or painted with exterior paint, indoor paint was used and obviously chipped away within a two months. Also the bolts used to secure the porch to the house were bolted twenty two inches apart on a diagonal line instead of sixteen inches apart in a straight line. While the home was being inspected the inspector asked if there was access to the underside of the porch and was told no, only later to find out a access door was there the entire time. The chimney was never sleeved to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. All the paint is currently peeling off the walls due to the company using latex paint over an oil based stain or paint instead of sanding the walls and repainting properly. Obviously this has and will continue to cost me well over $10,000.00 so far. These safety problems should have never existed.Desired Settlement: [redacted] is the same [redacted] as ANMAR LLC which is the company that previously owned my home. [redacted] has no business ethic and no concerns about the quality of work his company provides. I believe that [redacted] owes me replacements. They also need to be held accountable and at least have their business investigated and if necessary, suspend business operations due to their lack of concern for safety and following mandatory and legal town and building codes.
