Regarding the above complaint to the Revdex.comThe Hospital policy is that if a patient has a credit balance the credit is refunded to the patient with the exception of additional balances or balances pending insurance payments This has been explained to the patient As of this date, the patient has completed all treatment and insurance has been filed for all visits This patient will receive any credit overpayment as soon as insurance has paid on the final visitsIf you have any additional questions please call our Director of Finance, S [redacted] H [redacted] @ 864.***.***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, Please let us know below why you are rejecting the offer made by the business.] Regards, D [redacted] C***Whether this is their practice or not, this is not what I was told in January when I made the payment towards the MRI I was told when I phoned the end of January and seen where I overpaid that I'd have to wait until the MRI posted and then I would get my over payment back (by then the Diagnostic people were billing for the over payment, that I over paid you, that you were holding) I was also told by B [redacted] yet again on February 8th in an email and I quote "MrsC [redacted] it looks like your insurance payment posted today and it shows where you have over paidI will continue to check back for you on when you should get your over payment back."On Feb 8th I had to come up with an additional to send to the diagnostic people, since you all were still holding my money and a refund hadn't been issued yet. They also had an opportunity from March 20th to April 4th, where my account should have also shown a credit (by then because there was a $co-pay for the ER in the meantime) since the 4th thing had been posted on the 20th and the 5th thing wasn't even billed to the insurance until April 4th, but yet again I didn't receive MY money back. Now it is months later from when I first requested my money back, and I'm waiting again on yet a 5th thing to be posted The payment I made didn't have anything to do with any of the other items billed and my insurance pays 100% on everything yet you can't seem to refund my This money could have been used to pay the other diagnostic bill or would have been earning me interest in a bank, are they going to add interest to the money they need to return?I think not!My family will never use this hospital for future services, outpatient or otherwise, if they can't be honest and this is the way they treat people, we will just go somewhere else. The only resolve to this is when I have a refund in hand.D***

Regards,
D[redacted] C[redacted]Whether this is their practice or not, this is not what I was told in January when I made the payment towards the MRI.  I was told when I phoned the end of January and seen where I overpaid 185.00 that I'd have to wait until the MRI posted and then I would get my over payment back (by then the Diagnostic people were billing for the 185.00 over payment, that I over paid you, that you were holding) I was also told by B[redacted] yet again on February 8th in an email and I quote "Mrs. C[redacted] it looks like your insurance payment posted today and it shows where you have over paid. I will continue to check back for you on when you should get your over payment back."On Feb 8th I had to come up with an additional 185 to send to the diagnostic people, since you all were still holding my money and a refund hadn't been issued yet. They also had an opportunity from March 20th to April 4th, where my account should have also shown a credit (135.00 by then because there was a $50 co-pay for the ER in the meantime) since the 4th thing had been posted on the 20th and the 5th thing wasn't even billed to the insurance until April 4th, but yet again I didn't receive MY money back. Now it is months later from when I first requested my money back, and I'm waiting again on yet a 5th thing to be posted.  The payment I made didn't have anything to do with any of the other items billed and my insurance pays 100% on everything yet you can't seem to refund my 135.00.  This money could have been used to pay the other diagnostic bill or would have been earning me interest in a bank, are they going to add interest to the money they need to return?... I think not!My family will never use this hospital for future services, outpatient or otherwise, if they can't be honest and this is the way they treat people, we will just go somewhere else. The only resolve to this is when I have a refund in hand.D[redacted]
