I met my client on June After different quotes on different products ,an order was placed on June , same date
as deposit was made CLEARLY stated on Estimate ,Master Bedroom only was Blackout and total blinds were ordered.Installation was completed on July at pm All Blinds fit perfectly in windows , basement was 1/4'" off ( was re ordered same day ) All Measured Correctly by decorator July 21, I went to pick up cheque for balance, I noticed at that vi blinds were not hanging correctly I let the client hold back a thousand dollars till hanging issue was resolvedShe Also at that time ordered another blind for her ensuite I called my sales rep .She visited the clients home the very next day It was manufacture error, not enough weights were installed in blindsThey were aired overnight and a CB installer installed them Aug at 8am The additional blind Client had ordered was installed and again fit perfectly
Ann Love Interiors Inc payed FULL installation Charges over $for BOTH installs
All in All Blinds ordered , One mis measured people total were in the home Myself , my sales rep , my installer and Blind tech to install weightsThe total process was less than months and thats only because and additional blind was re orderedI gave a 45% discount of retail value of blinds at original quote When clients asked for yet another discount I just couldn't There was product , labour and shipping that had to pay for and didn't have those extra funds

There are many inaccuracies in Ann Love's account
Every communication and estimate Ann Love had sent me had blackout blinds on all of the upstairs bedrooms (I have all of the documentation)I agreed to the latest quote on June 12, 2015, which included black out blinds on all upstairs bedroomsThen, when the invoice came, she charged the same amount of money as on the quote, but no longer included the blackout blinds in all of the bedroomsWhen I addressed my concern with her, she refused to do anything about itThis is not good business practices
Ann Love has stated she ordered and charged us a total of blinds, only have been installed in my house, where are the other that I paid for?
Ann Love was incorrect in stating that all blinds fit perfectly except for oneOver 95% over the blinds did not fitThe majority of them did not hang all the way to the bottom of the windowsillIt took multiple visits from the manufacturer and installers to rectify that problem
She stated that she had to pay for the additional installs, however if there weren't so many mistakes made by Ann Love Interiors, she wouldn't have had to pay for the additional installsNot measuring the blinds correctly and having to pay for the installer to come out again is not the customers' fault and therefore we shouldn't have to pay for the installationAnn Love cannot complain about the additional installation costs as they were due to her error
The additional blind that we ordered was after the fact was because Ann Love advised us not to have blinds on one of the windows in the master bedroomHowever if one of the windows doesn't have blinds, the other black out blinds in the room aren't effectiveI was surprised that an 'experienced' interior decorator would have given us that adviseTherefore we had to order the additional blind for the black out blinds to be effectiveIt was no additional charge for installation for Ann Love as it was installed at the same time as those blinds that had to be reordered wereThis additional blind, of course, was not measured properly as well and had to be reordered again
Ann Love Interiors created an invoice that did not accurately represent the quote that we agreed toThe invoice is filled with mistakes; not including black out blinds in all of the upstairs bedrooms like we had agreed to and miscalculating the number of blinds that were actually installedAnn Love's actions throughout this process do not reflect what we consider fair and acceptable business practicesAs a result we have paid for blackout blinds that we did not receive and we have paid for blinds that were not installed
After all of the frustrations this blind order and installation has caused, Ann Love will not acknowledge her mistakes or the stress that this has caused to us, the customer***

Estimate # Clearly states Master Bedroom Blackout .( only )
Yes , Blinds were quoted , ordered and Installed
All Blinds EXCEPT ONE FIT PERFECTLY , did not hang perfectly due to manufacturers lack of weights on bottom I paid for two installs *** didn't want a blind on ensuite window originally as it was frosted glass
There was One error on Estimate, which was the total number of blinds *** nor myself never picked up on that
We have tried to do the best to satisfy customer

When the blinds first came and were installed, Ann Love recognized that there were numerous mistakes (as previously mentioned over 95% were ordered or installed incorrectly)At that time, she recommended that we hold back $of the invoice until we were 100% satisfied with the blindsLater, she demanded that we pay the $holdbackWhen we told her we were not satisfied with the blinds so we didn't feel comfortable paying until the problems were resolved, she threatened to put a lien on our home so we had no choice but to pay her the money
Not only has Ann Love provided poor customer service throughout the blind installation process, I have proof that there are two items on the estimate and invoice that are incorrect: the number of black out blinds and the number of blinds that she charged meIn order for her to fulfill her invoice, she needs to reimburse me for the blackout blinds in the upstairs bedrooms that she charged me for but did not order and the seven blinds that she charged me for but never installed
