Review: I ordered from this merchant a pair of wide width boots. Unfortunately the boots were not the calf size as advertised and needed to be returned. I shipped the boots back on Nov. *, and the merchant received them on Nov. **. As I sent an email to inquire about my refund it wasn't until several days later on Nov. ** that I get an email stating the boots I returned was in poor quality. If that was indeed the case I should have been notified immediately. I was told that the boots had several scratch marks and they attempted to buff them out but there was nothing they could do or resell them. I was sent pictures of the scratch marks that were on the boots. Honestly I believe that is highly unlikely since I tried the boots on for less than two minutes and imeediately discovered that the fit was poor and needed to be returned. I contacted the company the same night for return instructions...so how could I have damanaged them that quick. Leather boots are very senstive, but how can you try a shoe on without handling it. Now I have no refund and no boots. At this point those boots could have been damaged in their process of trying to improve them, I don't know because time had lapsed before I was contacted. I should have been provided pictures before they tried to treat the boots not after. I want my full refund of $279.99 minus the shipping or a pair of boots that they did not alter. You can not keep a customer money and the product. Customer service does not work like that and as a business the company should feel obligated to accomdate the customer the best way that they can instead of accusing them for damaging the product. I have never endured this kind of customer service from any other company and this is very upsetting especially when you've spent so much money on a product and not to have a resolution for the problem or have your money returned. Very disappointed at this customer service and the person who responded to my email.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of $279.99 plus tax minus the $14.95 for shipping, or a pair of boots that have not been altered by this company, because in their attempt to correct the boots I returned how do I know they were damanaged further. However at this point a refund is more of a request of the inconveinence and hardship this entire situation has caused.
