actually started with [redacted], who is my housekeeper.  Her first service was on a Saturday the 6th of December 2014. [redacted] went for two separate services she stayed 5 hours on the 16th because [redacted]'s list of duties to perform had increased from the previous visit.  She has a 2800 square foot 3 story town home with a garage apt.  The extra apartment usually takes an hour in itself. Ms. [redacted] noted from the very beginning that the problem she had with her previous housekeeper was that she would not do the detail she wanted.  She also recognized that she needed 5 to 6 hours to clean her home.  Ms. [redacted] really did not want to pay the $140.00 required to clean her home in the 6 hour time frame she needed. Therefore, we agreed to 5 hours and $115.00 with the understanding that we would concentrate on detail and rotate the actual duties.  Not attempting to accomplish her list every service.  We would instead let her stay with her budget of 5 hours and $115 and concentrate on the overall home as a monthly project instead of a per service completion.  [redacted], the housekeeper referral in question, started with her on December 30, 2014. Most months this worked out fine.  When [redacted]'s mother visited the whole tone of the home changed.  Ms. [redacted]'s mom wanted to direct the housekeeper, add to the list with no additional compensation and insist on personal information about the activities in her daughter's home..  She would ask the housekeeper, [redacted], very inappropriate questions about our client, [redacted], and when the housekeeper ignored the questions she would complain that [redacted] was not getting her work done satisfactorily.   This was untrue...she had just refused to answer her questions and redirected her to [redacted] for answers.  WE DO NOT REVEAL PERSONAL INFORMATION ON OUR CLIENTS. This is a rare exception made only to satisfy Ms. [redacted]'s complaint. On Thursday November 5th, [redacted] called the office and reached me in the office.  She revealed that her mother had some complaints about the housekeeper, [redacted].  [redacted] had already been in the office that day for her weekly cash-out,  next week's schedule, and her weekly one on one conversation with me.    I personally have a conversation with each housekeeper EVERY WEEK.  She mentioned that [redacted]'s mother had been VERY inappropriate this week and had been rude to the point of making her uncomfortable.  She requested that we get [redacted], a new housekeeper, as soon as we found a replacement client in her schedule. "[redacted] had had enough of [redacted]'s mother...she did NOT want to deal with her again!" The actual problem is NOT about our service!  It stems from a personality issue.  [redacted]'s mother requested personal information about her daughter's house.  [redacted] would not provide that information.  I personally refused to talk about [redacted] with her mother, who is NOT OUR CLIENT.  We NEVER TALK ABOUT ANY OF OUR CLIENTS FINANCIAL OR OTHERWISE!  I simply mentioned that [redacted] had several "high profile" clients and had never received a complaint.  When [redacted] asked me what "high profile" meant? I responded by saying you would recognize their names if I mentioned them.   I DID NOT! She somehow inferred that to mean wealthy.  We DON'T TALK or THINK that way!  Our prices are VERY reasonable because we want housekeeping to be affordable for EVERYONE!  We are professionals and this is our chosen profession.  WE ARE HOUSEKEEPERS NOT MAIDS!   We follow time honored traditions of sending one person so you get personal service. We work with our clients budget so our service is catered to what they can afford.  This DOES sometimes mean that we can't get EVERYTHING DONE, EVERY TIME.  We call each and every client after each service until they reach a personal comfort zone.  Then we are available for a conversation as they have questions or concerns.  We DO NOT SPEAK TO THIRD PARTIES EVER!  We speak to the clients only! I will not address the personal attacks made about the housekeepers attire being "too nice".  Or the fact that we are professionals who have to talk on the phone to each other, our clients, children, parents, teachers, etc. through out the coarse of a day. We have been in business for 25 years on January 19, 2016.  The average time the housekeepers have been with [redacted]'s Housekeeping Personnel Services is 12 years.  [redacted] started on August 29th, 2008. 75% of our clientele started our services before 2000 and use us weekly.  [redacted] falls in the 25th percentile of our clientele that use us every other week.  She falls into an even smaller percentile of clients who have used us for a year or less. The issues here are Ms. [redacted]'s and are of a personal not a professional nature.  We are unable to address those issues...we are HOUSEKEEPERS!  The person disrespected here was [redacted], a hard working mother of four, trying to make an honest living as a professional housekeeper.  Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter!
