Thank you for taking the time to resend the photos directly to meI do believe the original email went to spam as the photos may have been too large.I went back to the original estimate and we did repair the vehicle to USAA specified parts; the bumper is after market all other parts are [redacted] installed properly Your vehicle left our shop in tactIf you were local, given the condition depicted in the photos we would have taken the bumper off immediately, replaced it with an [redacted] bumper, and sent the damaged part back to the vendor under warranty However since we can not return the original part under the warranty and given the great distance between us and Alabama our only alternative is to reimburse you $622, which is a fair price to repair the bumper Unfortunately if you want an [redacted] bumper you will have to contact USAA directly to reopen your claimPlease confirm your mailing address and we will release a check on Monday.Again, I apologize on behalf of my company for any mis communications

Good morning,It is a shame that a business as reputable as they say they are will not take responsibility for a complaint that has been made since Nov 2014.  Several emails were sent and immediately addressed when the complaint first began.  Now, however, after sending the May 15 email with the pictures included as attachments, along with the estimates which they themselves asked for, the business claims to have conveniently not received it.  After reading this Revdex.com complaint, someone for their business could have contacted me and asked me for the email with th attachments again.  They did not.  As a customer of their business, I did what I was supposed to.  I talked with them, got the estimates and pictures they themselves asked for, and sent them immediately upon receipt of the proper documentation.  This Revdex.com reply by the business is obviously evidentiary fact that they do not want to take responsibility for the poor craftsmanship and repair that was completed on my wife's vehicle while I was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  The took advantage of the mother and her child while her husband was away fighting a war.  That is disgusting.  There is no excuse for no replying positively to my complaint.  Bashing myself and USAA is not appropriate actions for a reputable (as they themselves put it) business.  Not only did this business practice unlawfully with my, but with USAA.  USAA funded us the money, and we in turn paid the business.  I am filing a complaint with USAA and referencing their reply and lack of support. The bottom line is that they did not offer any kind of restitution at any one point in our conversations since Nov 14.  That is failure to conduct business properly!  I would like the opportunity to send them the estimates again and get my vehicle repaired properly.Thank you![redacted]

We feel that [redacted] complaint is unwarranted.  Annisquam Auto Inc. is a reputable company in business since 1969, we pride ourselves on providing the community and visitors of [redacted] the friendliest service and quality parts and would never let a vehicle leave our shop in the...

condition that Mr. [redacted] describes.I wish that we had received the May 15 email with pictures but we did not receive this email, If so we would have acted immediately.   As mentioned in prior correspondence, all repairs were done as per USAA insurance estimate with record of all OEM parts in estimate purchased and installed.  This is the first we heard about the issue with paint coming off the bumper which is a red flag to us that perhaps the vehicle was in another accident after it left our shop or simply hit a curb on your travels back to AL, we do not know for sure but based on years of experience this is a reasonable assumption.It is regretful that we could not resolve this issue to Mr. [redacted] satisfaction, however, we stand by our workmanship and hope you understand our conclusion.
