Jon ***, owner, came out quickly to assess out A/C concerns after our first callHe put coolant in an old unitWe were aware that it may not fix the problem as that unit was years oldHowever, we also had a second unit that was only 3-years oldHe stated it needed a new fan motorHe did not have the motor with him so he took the parts from our unit with him so he could get "just the exact part"He wanted us to prepay for all of the work in the amount of $900+ on that first dayWe refused and paid for what he had doneHe was supposed to return with the new fan and all of our parts the next dayHe did not show or return an y of our many callsHe finally called us back after daysHe stated he could not come to put the motor in for more daysWhen he did finally come it was almost pmHe had stated he would be here early afternoon The fan he put on was a "rescue fan" that was generic and the motor was too small for our unitIt immediately started squealingWe again called Jon and he stated it would need to be replacedHe stated he would be out in the next couple of daysHe has now charged us over $for inoperable equipmentAfter one week of waiting for him to come and remedy the situation, we called another companyThe gentleman that came could not believe the work Jon had doneThe motor was "rigged" and not properly installedHe had snipped off of the screws that held the fan in place and the fan was wobbling and would not last long in its current stateDuring our dealing with Jon, he was belligerent and argumentativeWhen he could not make my husband believe the lies he was telling he,Jon, began to refuse to speak with him and only wanted to speak with meHe must have thought a woman would fall for his lines We asked him to refund our money for the motor, come get it and return our old motorFor the motor alone, he charged us $We replaced it with the correct motor for our unit for $He only yelled at my husband and refused to speak with him any furtherWe have never heard from or seen him or our money again Had he treated us fairly and with respect, he could have replaced our old unitHe is not worth dealing with
