responding to the issue about the status of the consumer’s current surrender charge waiver request. Under the terms of the contract his father purchased, the Long Term Care Waiver requires certain conditions to be met to qualify for a waiver of surrender charges. Great American Life received his latest Long Term Care Waiver request in October. Unfortunately, we did not have all the information necessary to proceed with our review. The Long Term Care facility name and address information was blank. Also, some information on the Physician’s statement page was illegible. During a recent call to our office, Mr. [redacted] provided us with new facility information. We contacted them and are waiting for their reply to proceed further in our review. Although the consumer previously talked by phone to our staff, I asked someone to contact him directly by phone concerning the status of this request.Please note that the consumer also made comments about the company name used in your system. That is a decision made by the Cincinnati Revdex.com not our company.I hope that this information is helpful to you. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.1.  The response is not accurate, we are an impacted party as the product was to benefit my parents heirs, which is me2.  I did not name my parents to remain anonymous as Brian is a elder abusing predator.3..  This is a callous, corporate and unacceptable response.  The only reason the product wasn't sold was because I intervened.  You know agents like Brian are ruining seniors lives by offering this product and you look the other way.4.  The number of complaints on [redacted] and Revdex.com against GA and these products should be a call to action, but if you prefer I will contact the [redacted] instead.
