*** called to inquire if we had received her mail about filing an immigration petition for parents. I told her that my staff had not put it on my in box to start to work on it, so I had my staff look for the package. She was rude because she thought we were not proceeding fast enough. We got off the phone and I neglected to take her phone number, so I took on a client with the only means to communicate was either through mail or if she would call. But I wanted to help herSecond, immigration petitions require clients to review documents prior to submittal to ensure information is correct, since almost all information comes from the client’s documents and/or input. At times it takes a couple iterations before getting to the final version for submittalMuch information provided by Mrs*** was not correct like Mexican zip codes, dates, names, just to name a few. It appears that she is holding me responsible for information not provided or incorrect other than my type “Os.” I do take responsibility for type “Os” made but her accusations of me doing the paper “wrong” is not correct, since I have been in business for twenty plus years. Accordingly, I know the immigration petition process and have successfully helped many clientsThird, one of her complaints is that my Spanish to English translations is wrong, which is unfounded because I have translated hundreds of documents. To date my translations have been accepted by the Department of Homeland Security-Immigration Services. Fourth, after receiving the first version. She had her sister call me to address her concerns which was done extremely rude. She got on the phone yelling and rudely asking for a refund. I told her that services where rendered and that I would not return her payment. She threatened me, that I would be sorry. Finally, it’s my understanding that she has not submitted the petitions based on feedback received. I recommend to my clients that petitions be submitted and if something is not done correctly, Immigration Services will request corrections and/or additional information. I coordinate responses with my clients.
