Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I never had confirmed that I would accept the charge without Apple care, and the quote that was provided on me is falseThe dental scheduler knew I had Apple care and agreed to accept itOnly until after the service did they ask for cash paymentI never discussed my own financial dealings with anyoneI would never have agreed to the service if they told me they did not accept itNever did the representative of their Dental firm say they did not accept it until after the work was doneI will not pay for what is covered for my dental insurance and will gladly see them in civil court.
Sincerely,

October 2, 2017Revdex.comPO Box 1000DuPont, WA 98327 The office has been closed for the past 2.5 weeks and upon our return, we received the correspondence that was mailed to us on September 21, 2017 for ID # [redacted].   Mr. [redacted] has been seen in our office on three different...

occasions.  August 11, 2016, September 7, 2016 and July 7, 2017.  Per our records he stopped by the office to make the appointment for August 11, 2016 on August 4, 2016.  On that date, he spoke with Azie, our office manager.  Mr. [redacted] asked Azie if the office accepted “Apple care” insurance.  Azie explained to him that Dr. [redacted] is not a provider for Apple care and therefore cannot bill this insurance company.  Because of this fact, the office cannot receive payment from this insurance company and we do not accept this insurance at the office.  Mr. [redacted] understood and elected to schedule the appointment and pay for the services rendered because it was clear to him that he would have no dental benefits.  Please see attached chart note regarding this conversation.   On the September 7, 2017 appointment, Mr. [redacted] stated that he would like to have his dental care here even though he understands that the office does not accept Apple care because he had been to Apple care offices and he didn’t like the services that were rendered and further stated that he preferred Dr. [redacted]’s care for his dental needs.  He also added that he will get his “finances in order” and schedule another appointment.   On July 7, 2017, at the end of his appointment when Regina was attempting to collect for services rendered, the patient informed Regina that he had dental insurance and that he would e-mail the information to the office.  Azie overheard the conversation and mentioned to Mr. [redacted] that if he still had the Apple care insurance plan, we still did not accept this plan because Dr. [redacted] is not a provider for this state run insurance coverage and we are not authorized to bill for payment.  Please see chart note made by Regina regarding the information about e-mailing the insurance information.  The office never received an e-mail and assumed that Mr. [redacted]’s insurance was still the Apple care plan.   In closing, when a patient is on Apple care through the state, they are informed that they must seek treatment from a participating dentist or no payment will be made.  In addition, this plan is not accepted by all dental offices.  Mr. [redacted] has been on this plan long enough to know this information.  We completed the dental treatment on him and although he has a dental insurance carrier, he is ultimately responsible for this financial obligation to the office.  Therefore, the office will continue to pursue the payment for the services rendered.   Sincerely,Dr. [redacted] If you haven't received the email or the attachments, please provide us with an email or fax so we can send them again
