To whom it may concern.
I am writing to you today about ID number [redacted], the complaint you received is full of half-truths and fabricated stories. The manager of the store purchased the items on June 11, 2014 from a [redacted] for the amount of $180. The item contained 4.3...

pennyweights of 14k gold and 1 carat of melee diamonds, included is the receipt for the purchase. [redacted] asked the manager to hold the ring so he could buy if back. The manager of the store advised he that she would hold the ring for five (5) days as required by law, [redacted] sighed the receipt showing we would hold the ring till June 19th, 2014. Before the manager broke the ring apart he asked to hold the ring for another week, the manager of the store agreed to hold the ring another week. The manager held the ring till the middle of July in which that time she called [redacted] several times in which the phone was disconnected. In the middle of July she did not hear back from [redacted] for two (2) weeks in which the manager of the store broke the ring apart and sold the items. [redacted] came in two (2) days after the manager the ring in question apart looking for it. The manager in question told [redacted] that the ring was broken apart and not in available anymore. [redacted] did come in here looking for the ring upset, I did advise him I would get him a new one but would cost him whatever I had to pay for it, [redacted] agreed at that time.
A week or two later his daughter came in here to talk to us and we advised [redacted]. [redacted] daughter that he sold the ring and also advised her that the ring was sold and that we could replace but at his cost. I also advised him that I would need to see a photo of the ring to have it made. [redacted]'s daughter advised us that her dad's phone was disconnected for a while and that she lent him money to pay his bills. [redacted] brought in a paper showing pawn shop rules from [redacted].com, I advised [redacted] that we are not a pawn shop we buy precious metals and sell them.
A month late [redacted] came in here asking for his ring I advised him I did not receive a picture of the ring. [redacted] went to his car and went out to his car and brought in a picture of the ring and told me to get his ring. I promptly went online and called [redacted] advised him the ring would cost him $3500 to replace it right away. [redacted]. [redacted] cane in later and advised she was going to contact the police, Revdex.com, FBI, FCC, and the IRS. I ejected [redacted]. [redacted] from the store and the police were called to advise her that she would be arrested for trespassing if she contacted us again. Next week [redacted] came in and left a menacing letter with us threatening us, again the police were contacted and [redacted] was advised if he contacted us again he would be arrested for trespassing and or harassment.
The invoice and the signed receipt showing [redacted] knew when the items were going to be broken apart and that he agreed upon the price, photo copies of the agreement are enclosed for your verification. The diamonds were never moved or sold to the shop that had the fire.Thank you

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Again we are rejecting ANS Coins LLC response because it is full of untruths.  If he has a receipt with [redacted] signature on it then he should produce same & we will have a professional examiner look at it.  [redacted] has NEVER received a receipt of any kind EVER.  The rings were NOT sold or implied sold to ANS Coins.  It was done as a favor to [redacted] by store employee Debbie who told [redacted] that they do NOT advertise doing pawns but they do so on occasion.  We feel lied to by all
parties at the shop which makes us more determined than ever to get this into court.  What Stefan is saying does not even make sense.  Why would we SELL 2 precious expensive rings for $180 ????    Stefan also never told us that we would have to pay for the replacement of the 1 ring. After telling us numerous times that the rings were melted down "BY MISTAKE" & he would make things right, he made us wait 3 weeks before telling us WE had to pay for the remake.  Stefan knew he was making a HUGE PROFIT by keeping those rings.  Now we know why his employee said "he has done this before & got away with it so he will NOT HELP you".  [redacted] was in this store at a minimum of twice a week & at times more than that.  Each time Debbie & [redacted] would discuss the rings & he was told every time all was OK.  It was only when she went on vacation that Stefan went behind her back & kept our rings.  Debbie was HORRIFIED to learn what was done & said she was sorry dozens of times.  If she tells the truth in court the REAL STORY (we know she is afraid of losing her job) then Stefan will be held accountable for his MISTAKE.  I want to point out 1 thing:  [redacted] was the one who called police all 3 times.  Yes, Stefan threatened me with police but I left his store right away & never went back , never called him. NO CONTACT AT ALL.
Stefan DID CALL our home to say he was the "BOMB SQUAD"  AFTER he received the letter from the Revdex.com. So he tells us not to make contact but it's O.K. for him to contact us & try to intimidate us.  Can you believe that an honest businessman would call & say such a thing.  SHOWS what he's all about.  One more thing:  Our phones have  always worked & our incoming statements DO NOT show any calls ever came in from ANS Coins until AFTER [redacted] was told his rings were gone.  They never tried to reach us by mail either.  We live less than a mile from the store.  LLC is being used for the first time in this letter so if he just did this it won't help him for this case.Stefan, Please reread both of your responses & look hard at what you are saying. You contradict yourself repeatedly  You also know that I am the one who called the police on you.  All we are looking for is justice and honesty.
NOTE: Do to an inheritance I received from my mother (who passed away in 6/2012) we sold a lot of silver coins to ANS Coins.  We NEVER got a receipt EVER,  [redacted] got to be friendly with Debbie and was selling items for the store weekly. This is why he was in the store at least twice a week. Once to pick up item & at least once to drop off their money.  [redacted] really liked & trusted Debbie so when he told her what those rings meant to him & he would do anything to get them back so if something
came up just contact him.  The diamond ring was his wedding band & the other ring was a gift from his deceased father.  [redacted] trusted Debbie immensely!!!!
Also LLC does not appear on 1 item of the store: Not in advertising, not on signs or business cards, etc.
Regards,
[redacted] & [redacted]

Review: Took in approx. $3500.00 of Gold & Diamond jewelry for $174.00 and promised the customer it would be held until the customer came back & paid back the $174.00. Customer was in the store often during this time period & was constantly assured that all was well. When customer came in to pick up the items he was told the owner of the store did not read the envelope they were in & had them melted down, When customer was told this the employee said "her boss made a mistake but he doesn't care, he will not make good on it because he has done this before & has gotten away with it". However 2 days later customer spoke with the owner & was told "yes, I made a mistake & I will make it right:, He asked for a picture of the items (we provided). When customers daughter & her daughter stopped at the store the owner also told them "it was a mistake & he was going to make good, he has another store & will look for the diamonds there, (we later found out store burned down). After three weeks the customer was told by owner that he would have to pay the owner $2700.00 (his cost) to get one of the items replaced.Desired Settlement: Rightful promised replacement of BOTH items.

I am rejecting this response because:

The first line of this response is false. The last line is false & everything in between is false. It would take at least 10 pages to respond to all these fabrications. However, I will try & be brief & point out some obvious things. Our phone has always worked. My daughter does not lend us money. If [redacted] tells the truth when she is sworn in at court, the store will be very embarrassed. [redacted] had been in their store 2/4 times a week because he was selling items for the store so between picking up the items to sell & dropping off their money took at least 2 trips a week. [redacted] repeatedly asked about his rings when ever he was in the store. Why would he accept $180 for rings that were worth thousands?? [redacted] was told by [redacted] that although they did not ADVERTISE they did pawns they had on occasion did. When [redacted] placed his rings in Debbie's care he STRESSED to her that one ring was his wedding ring and the other ring was a gift from his now deceased father. He advised her that if anything came up to contact him & he would come in RIGHT AWAY & take care of everything. [redacted] TRUSTED Debbie, he did not sign anything nor did he show his I,D. & NEVER received a receipt of any kind. In fact in ALL the dealings with this store he NEVER got a receipt. We did provide a photo of the ring because we were told that while [redacted] was on vacation, Stefan went thru the safe, he did not read the envelope & melted the rings down. He told [redacted], his daughter & his granddaughter that he made a mistake but would make it good. He had another store & would look for the diamonds there, Never once was a fee mentioned. [redacted] did tell [redacted] that Stefan had done this before several times and has always gotten away with it. She believed he would not help us. By the way the money he borrowed
