Dirty, Dishonest. Not worth it. No integrity or morals.
I worked for Answer Aide for 2 months. I had 100s on QA very consistently. I was complimented by a client regarding my performance there. I also picked up extra hours to help out whenever needed, even if I didn't feel good. There were many nights I ran the company alone, with no support/assistance. After 2 months, I had my hours immediately cut and all overtime removed without any warning. When I reached out to the owner's wife, who handles our schedule, I was informed it was their "down season" and there would be no more overtime. I addressed my concerns with a few of my friends in chat. I immediately was contacted in chat by the owner, asking, Why I was complaining about no overtime. I explained how I was taken aback because his wife and I had an agreement I would be given 50 hours a week. He seemed as if he knew nothing about this agreement. When he spoke to his wife, she completely lied that we ever had this talk about me working 50 hours per week. They also made a point to delete any Slack messages where we had this discussion about me working 50 hours per week back in November and December. Yet, they continued to bring in new people constantly, but yet we were "downsizing". The owner's wife shared many confidential things with me while working there such as other workers QA scores, reasons why she was firing agents, etc. I learned a lot of confidential info, that I shouldn't have known about. I believe the owner saw me as a liability to his company. He ended up sending me home due to the fact I called them out on what was going on. How they deleted messages so that I couldn't even prove our conversations ever existed. He didn't like this. He said I could come to a meeting, where he would be discussing "boundaries" with me, like I was some problem child. The only problem here was the fact of how dishonest these owners are, and how they are willing to throw great workers under the bus at any regard. I should have listened to all the reviews calling the owner a Narcissistic Person. I have 16 years of working from home and never have I ever experienced such dishonesty and rude behavior. They also block callers if they don't want to deal with them for business. If the caller has an issue, they won't help them or if the caller becomes irate, they'll just block them from calling in. Very very poor bad business by dishonest people.
