My son attends AV College 5 days a week. We had him buy a AVTA bus pass for Bus 12 to help with the high gas costs of us driving twice a day to drop him off and pick him up after classes. The busses are never on time and sometimes at least an hour between busses, sometimes more. We end up having to go pick him up. They never keep the time schedule as posted on the web site. this is a SAD way to run a bus system!

AVTA is the most stressful, uncourteous, time consuming and unprofessional public transportation I have ever usedTheir schedules do not allow for a timely commute at any time during the day with at least a minimum waiting time of minutesI've watched my connecting bus leave the station multiple times a day, everyday I commute on these busesThe buses stop running every minutes after only 6:00pm leaving it's customers to now have at least an hour waiting time between either their next bus or their destinationTheir drivers are so unprofessional, uncourteaous to other individuals time and they rarely enforce any rules on their buses, I've witnessed elderly people standing while there are younger males and or females sitting in the seats designated to the elderly and disabled while the bus is en-routeThey have decided to not allow the drivers to communicate directly with other drivers, which makes it extremely difficult and more times than none impossible to call and request a "courtesy five" which they DO NOT COMPLY with to begin with, and to add the majority of the drivers will suggest that you call instead of them to request thisI have called multiple times to complain and have left voice messages on their "supervisors" voice answering machine and have not been contacted yetI would NEVER suggest AVTA to anyone, between the headache of the complaints I've made above their buses have serious mechanical dysfunctions and I fear for my safety at times and wonder everyday, will I make it to work today? Will I be on time? EVERYDAY!! Get a vehicle DO NOT USE AVTA TO COMMUTE
