A dental company that looks for a way not to pay a simple teeth check up and cleaning, but can sure take bi weekly premiums out off a paycheck Worst dental insurance I have ever experienced in my years on this planted Customer service was rude and condescending to top it off!

I have Metlife dental insurance as my primary carrierAnthem is my secondaryThey have laid back and let MetLife pay most of my bills and have refused to pay their partI was due an implant bridge 12- I maxed out my Metlife benefits and Anthem was responsible for $of the billThey refused to pay anything because I had to get a replace bridge due to the one I had breakingI paid for it out of my own pocket since it was within the year limit Anthem claims since I paid for it and it was within the year limit they aren't responsible for any bridge costs periodI think they are since they didn't pay dime on itI strongly suggest no one get Anthem Dental Insurancethey are the biggest crooks there areThey won't even pay for a teeth cleaning and they claim they pay for a year

above mentioned ID. As our company strives for customer satisfaction, we appreciate the opportunity to address our member's concerns in writing. The member expressed concerns with his monthly payments to Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for the months of June, July, August and September 2015. He relayed he does not recall getting a bill for June, but after paying his July and August bills with no problems he might have paid June and just forgot. He relayed he made his September payment which was sent back to him. He relayed he contacted customer service and he was advised he was terminated due to nonpayment on the policy since June. According to our records, the member was enrolled in an Individual Dental PPO plan under Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, effective August 1, 2014 through July 31, 2015. The policy was auto cancelled on September 8, 2015, and back dated to August 1, 2015, due to non-payment. A payment of $31.00 was received on August 14, 2015, and refunded back to the member on October 1, 2015. The payment was refunded because it was received after the policy had auto cancelled. Please note a bill was sent on July 22, 2015 for the coverage period of August 1, 2015 through August 31, 2015, in the amount of $31.00. A grace letter was then sent on August 6, 2015 and a cancellation letter was then sent on September 9, 2015. Based on this information the policy terminated due to non-payment for the month of August 2015 not for the month of June 2015 as previously mentioned by the member.
