As per our conversation today, I am sending you the minimized list of work that I am willing to accept to resolve the complaint against Anthony Charles Homes Inc You indicated that you spoke with Anthony Charles last week and that he agreed to complete any unresolved issues, even those verbally discussed and agreed upon.
I am requesting an exact date and time for the following items to be completed at my home:
Re-installation of window blinds in laundry room Touch up of any and all paint work necessary on any wood trim and removal/clean up of paint droppings on floors, doors, or windowsRe positioning and Installation of kitchen lighting fixture with ceiling repair/paintworkSincerely,

I am writing in response to complaint #***
rgb(34, 34, 34)">I have attached all contracts and invoice which show work we were hired to completeAs you will see it is quite evident that the original contracted work was for a master bathroom, powder room, and master closet renovationOnce the work started as you will see by the dates on contracts substantially more work was added which of course led to an extended renovation timeStated in the letter from the customer was that he incurred expenses related to the over run of timeAs mentioned please refer to work addedI would like to address the items mentioned in the complaint letter belowBrackets for window blinds were lost and blinds were never re-hung• Blind removal and re-install are not in contract
Master bedroom door was removed during demolition and paintwork and upon replacement, can't be closed without damaging the paint or door
• Door was never removed during renovation it was painted in placeDoor replacement or repair are not in the contract
Work on the main fireplace wall has now left an inconsistent operating gas fireplace• The only work done to the fireplace was to install a new valve which was done free of chargeThe remaining work was cabinetry, mouldings, and tile workThe fireplace unit itself was original to the home and not in our contractThere was a promise to reposition the main kitchen lighting fixture and hang new fixture which remains incomplete• This was to be a courtesy free of charge, again not in the contract
Paintwork has areas of inconsistencyThis has not been brought to my attention before nowMultiple recessed light fixtures on high ceilings are not secure to fit• Recessed light fixtures are original to home and again not in contract
Extra flooring left behind and was not properly removed for storage or trash• The flooring referred to was purchased by customer and as a courtesy we picked up the flooring free of charge and one box of flooring was left overAs stated above none of the items in the complaint are listed in any of the work we were contracted to completeThroughout this renovation we met all of our commitments we were contracted forThere were several jobs we completed free of charge as a courtesy as we frequently do for our customersA few of those non-charged jobs are listed below:
Install new gas valve on fireplace Install CATwire from office to A/V equipment Insta|| new doorbell chimeInstall rubber tile flooring in garage Install new electrical outlet and wiring in office inside cabinetry
I will be more than happy to schedule the painter to complete any necessary touch ups once I receive a list of what needs to be addressedRegards,

You asked me to update you after I heard back from Anthony Charles Homes IncThey originally agreed to the list in the email below, which you forwarded to themHowever, they have since back tracked and have not agreed to the short list belowYou did have confirmation of their verbal agreement to finish the list below after speaking with him He confirmed that he agreed and promised to me, to hang the last light fixture in the kitchen as they did hang the fixtures in the dining room and foyer during the original work last summer.
I have not heard back form them in over a weekI let them know today that I have spoken with an attorney who will not only pursue the work to be completed but also lost wages for all of the times that I blocked out between Sept and Dec which they promised to come on multiple occasions and did not show, while I sat there at the house waiting for them while I could have been workingPlease advise
